Jim, Based on the information provided it sounds like the control panel could possibly have a stick key which would require replacement of the control panel.

Hello Gabie. It could have been a flicker of the power. If the issue continues, you will need to replace the control board in the unit.

Hello Maureene. No, but it is not real hard to install. Remove the inner door liner and make sure the power is disconnected. From that point, you can access and remove the control panel and the screws securing it to the unit.

On my Frigidaire dishwasher, # PLD4375RFC0, I got the ERR message, nothing worked. I replaced the console panel and the unit worked fine. I noticed after the first wash that the left side top of the console panel was wet and replaced the gasket. I believe that the first console panel failed because it was damaged on the left side top. My problem is there is still water coming out on the new console panel. The door latch seems to work OK. Do I need new door springs to close the door tighter or might it be that the tub is not aligned with the door?

Hi. Just making sure that you have the control board gasket part # 154478901. Feel the inside of the inner door part # 5304460897 to see if it will seal fine or if it is warped and not sealing. Does the hinges, Lt. part # 5304513274 Rt. part # 154597701 make any noise or jump out of the pivot points when closing. If there is no smooth action then replace the hinges on each side. Remove the lower rack. Use a torpedo level on int the tub where the rack rolls on to see if the tub is level front to back and side to side. All 4 - legs have to touch the floor so the unit does not twist and misaligned the door latch during heated wash especially. Thank you.

I had the "err", flashing buttons, etc and replaced the console assembly and the dishwasher works great. After the first wash, I noticed the top right side of the button pad was wet, and that was the same area of the malfunctioning pad that I replaced. The old pad was warped and had lifted up and I think that water damage may have caused this damage and the pad's failure. I noticed that the inside rim gasket had some white mineral deposits on it and rubbed them off. I have not done a second load of dishes yet, but I am wondering if I should replace the gasket with AP5319072. The gasket does not look damaged otherwise and door seems to latch correctly.

My dishwasher started to have problems and gave an error message. After a few days waiting for a repairman the dishwasher started to work again but only speed clean. Sometimes it stopped working and if we waited 2-3 days it would work again but only on speed clean. Then speed clean stopped working and only the normal wash cycle worked. This was ok for a couple of months, but last night the dishwaser stopped working and no lights or cycle can be selected. I powered down and up. I get the power failure error but when reset no lights or ability to select a wash cycle. I am not sure if I should replace the console or control board.
