Karen November 09, 2020 for Model Number GLTF2940FS2 The washer won't start. Had the motor tested at an electronics store and the motor is good. The door latch seems to look okay. Cannot get the machine to give any diagnostics codes. Front panel lights don't seem to be working either...any suggestions before I buy unneeded parts??
1 Answer Karen, it would be recommended that the main control 137006000 is tested for 120 Volts AC at the connection J14 from the black wire to the white wire with a meter. If there is proper voltage, and the display does not illuminate when activated, then the main control has failed and would need to be replaced. Read More...

Mike January 10, 2020 for Model Number GLTF2940ES1 Wondering what the problem with my Frigidaire gallery front loader is. When it starts any cycle it goes right to no spin. If I start the drain cycle and pull on the door it might run for most of the cycle.
1 Answer Mike, You will want to run the diagnostics mode and check for error codes. Probably looking at a door lock with this unit [common issue]. Check behind the lower front panel for the tech sheet or under the lid. We could send you a tech sheet but we would need your email. Read More...
Dennis April 25, 2018 Several months back I order a part for our Frigidaire Infanity washer. We need to make an order for the door strike but model and s/n is worn off can you check back and see if you might still have it on record?
1 Answer Hello Dennis. The order was placed online so we do not have a model number. However, I used the part ordered to pull a model number. The strike for that model is 131763302. We can not guarantee this will work with your model since you do not have the model number. Thank you. Read More...

John November 25, 2016 for Model Number ATF8000FS1 The rubber molding on the front panel that seals the door when it closes has become moldy. Is it easily changed? If so, what is the part number and is there instruction. Recommended prevention? Thanks
1 Answer Hello John, This 134728400 is not a terribly hard repair. We have a video showing the bellows replacement at http://www.appliancepartspros.com/frigidaire-bellows-kit-134728400-ap3886970.html . Please note that this video actually shows a Whirlpool as an example, but the Frigidaire is similar. As per the manufacturer, to prevent mold, mildew, and odor, do at least two hot washes with bleach per week, do not oversoap, and run a bi-monthly sanitation cycle with white vinegar and/or bleach and hot water. Also, dilute the fabric softener with hot water, (50% hot water and 50% fabric softener), before putting it into the fabric softener dispenser. This prevents clinging of the softener to the plastic parts of the dispenser and also, since the softener "feeds" the bacteria that causes mold, mildew, and odor so the less used, the less of an issue you will have. 1 Answer Hello Atara. If it does not pull out of the unit, the only other option you have is replacing the lock assembly. You can try using a pick tool. Read More...
