Hello Dave. It sounds like the venting system is clogged or kinked. You will need to check the vent and clean it out. Be sure and clean the vent pipe and the dryer air duct assembly. If the air flow is not good, the unit will retain moist air causing the clothes not to dry. Try running the unit with the vent unhooked from the back of the dryer and see if the dryer works properly.

Deek, This issue could be one of several issue. The first thing that you will want to check is to make sure that the thermal fuse and Hi temperature are good by checking them for continuity. If they check ok then you will then want to determine which side of the heating circuit you are loosing power from. You will want to access the heater, disconnect the power to the unit. With the power disconnected then disconnect one side of the heating element. With the wire disconnected you will check from the loose wire to chassis ground to make sure that there is 120 vac. Keeping the wire loose you will then check the other wire that is still attached to the heating element for 120 vac. The unit must be running to do this. If the power checks ok with 120 vac on each leg then the heater is faulty. IF there is power missing from one side then that would be the issue. If the one that goes to the thermostat is showing power then the timer side would be good but if this is the side not getting power then the timer is the issue. If there is no power at the other side then the motor that would be the issue.
