David L. April 19, 2015 for Model Number Unable to locate I have a very old hotpoint range. I am unable to find a model #. The only thing I can find is the serial # and a catalog #. I have tried a 6inch replacement heating element but the plugin is about a inch too short. Can you help me with this problem?
1 Answer Hello David! Unfortunately, we'll need the model number to be able to guarantee a replacement part. I've narrowed the searches down on our site to show GE stove top coils (Hotpoint is owned by GE). If you purchase a part and it doesn't fit you have 365 days to return the part with our no hassle return policy. Here is the link to view the available parts. Hope it helps. Phil February 14, 2015 for Model Number Jbp26gv3 I'm trying to find the wattage for this heating coil. Is it 1500 watts?
1 Answer Yvonne, the 6" element is part number WP660532 and the 8" element is part number WPW10259865. For black drip pans use part numbers W10290353RW for the 6" and W10290350RW for the 8". For the grey drip pans use part number W10291024 which comes with a kit of two 6" and two 8" drip bowls. Thanks! Read More...
Paula April 01, 2014 for Model Number JBP25GR2WH I need to replace one of the small elements for my stove. Which part should I order? I have replaced a large element previously with part #AP2634728.
Dave S. March 22, 2014 for Model Number J BP24G0J4AD The six inch burner on my stove, model J BP24G0J4AD has a problem. The burner still works but one of the legs on the three-legged support has corroded through so the element is not supported correctly. This support does not seem to be a separate part, so I will have to replace the whole burner and support. What replacement burner do I want?
1 Answer Dave, the 6" surface element listed for the given model is part number WB30M1. Thanks! Read More...

Chris S. February 09, 2014 for Model Number JSP31WDV1WW Part number with d in the middle does not match up. But omitting the d seems good. But actual range is different in that top is totally flat with controls mounted in front below the top range area. The top range area is a separate top section that can be raised up for cleaning. Also burner elements and drip pans are slightly smaller diameter than typical units found. Example. The holes in the top range area for the pans to sit in are 6.375 diameter and 9.75 diameter for small & large pans to sit in. That is not a dimension given on most parts. Am afraid to order as I think must parts so far look to big. Example p/n ap4366225.
1 Answer Chris, you would use model JSP31WV1WW for research. This model uses small element part number WB30M1 and large element part number WB30M2. The small burner bowl is part number WB31K10265 and the large is part number WB31K10266. Thanks! Read More...
