  • Sends control signals to the dryer's components as designed by the model
  • Coordinates timing and status indicators
  • Common symptoms: won't start, console unresponsive, cycles that won't run/advance/end properly, intermittent power or random lights/beeps
What's included: 1 electronic control board assembly. Installation notes:
  • Disconnect power before servicing; this board carries line voltage.
  • Use ESD precautions and handle the PCB by the edges.
  • Photograph/label connectors and move wires one at a time to the new board; secure with existing bracket.
  • After installation, run the model's diagnostic or test routine if applicable.

For Ge Dryer Control Board (Mounted Assembly) (Part Number: OEM14942250)

Tom for Model Number DPSE810GG7WT

I have received and replaced the control board WE4M10004. The dryer seems to be working just fine. The only problem is that I am getting different times on specific cycles. All times on the right hand side of the dial are correct. ie: 10 = 10 min, 50 = 50 min, 80 = min. On the left side I am getting different times. I.e. the Easy Care cycle was 21 minutes, now it is 54 minutes. Did GE change the minutes in the different cycles? Now the Cotton = 65 minutes, Easy Care = 54 min., Delicates = 15 min., Mixed load = 58 min., Anti Bacterial = 2H, Dryel = 30 min, Knits = 26 min., Towels = 67 min. What causes the different times? Did GE change the times with a new revision of the control board?

Tom, With this unit the times would be preset by the factory. We do not have information on what the drying times for this control board should be. The times that you are listing would sound like a normal drying time for the items listed.

Dg, You will want to double check all of your connections and make sure that everything is connected properly. We are not seeing anything about the display flashing 88 but it could indicate that the control board is faulty.

Hello Brian. Check the belt, door switch, and the thermal fuse on the unit. Either can cause the issue you are having.

Susan, First, check and make sure the extended tumble option has not been selected. This would create the scenario you're describing. If the extended tumble is not the issue, the problem would be in the control board WE04M10004, and it would need to be replaced.

Hello I have a GE profile dryer that is not getting hot. I took the dryer apart and vacumed and blew all lint and dust. I also cleaned the vent line. I checked both heat coils and they were 19 ohms. The 3 sensors behind the drum all measured less than 1 ohm. The thermistor on the blower measured 110 K ohm as the charts gave. The other sensor on the blower measured less than 1 ohm as well. BTW the heat strip does come on for a brief moment then it switches off. I have run out of things to try except the control board. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Mike, When you press stop and it goes to the pause setting, you will just need to cancel the cycle if the load is done or press start to resume the cycle. This is a normal operating feature of the unit.

Hi Kathy. Either something is stuck in the blower wheel part # WE16X20393 or if not, then the motor centrifugal switch is bad. It is internal with the motor part # WE17X22217. Thank You.
