Rick March 09, 2012 for Model Number GSD4010 series When the drain solenoid is energized, and the lever trips, at the left side of the pump, water leaks out of the shaft. In a normal wash cycle there is no leak. Is there an O ring or some type of replaceable seal available for this shaft?

David February 12, 2012 for Model Number HDA300Y-70BA After the tub fills and unit runs a bit, the drain solenoid pulls in. During that time you see water dripping from under the solenoid/pump, but you see the pump fan throwing off drops of water. I have not pulled the unit out and turned it on its back. I can't tell if the water is coming from between the pump and fan connection or on back of pump. Any ideas? Thanks
1 Answer Hello David. It sounds like the pump and motor assembly WD26X10013 is bad and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps. Read More...

Gregg January 03, 2012 for Model Number GSD4200JOOWW The detergent is not dispensing. The detergent door opens fine and there are no obstruction in front of the door. The detergent just runs down the inside of the door. I'm thinking possibly bad motor impeller. Is there a way to test the dish washer with the door open so I can possibly see if the proper water pressure is coming out the motor impeller?
1 Answer Hello Gregg. If you can engage the door latch assembly WD13X10003, you can run the dishwasher with the door open. Water will go everywhere if the impeller is working properly. Just a warning for you so you don't have a big mess. Hope this helps. Read More...
Tom January 02, 2012 for Model Number GSD2200G00BB My dishwasher wasn't draining so I pulled it out and cleaned the drains. After putting it back under the sink I noticed water leaking from under the dishwasher. I pulled it out again and ran it to see if I could see the leak. It looked like it was coming from the pump connect. I removed the clamps for the pump connect and the inlet sump and re-tightened them. I ran a cycle with water only and there wasn't any leaks. I then ran a cycle with liquid detergent and it is leaking again. Do you know what is causing this?
1 Answer Hello Tom. Check and see if there is alot of soap suds inside the unit. If so, this could be causing the unit to leak out. If not, you may need to replace the pump and motor assembly WD26X10013. Hope this helps. Read More...
Ed November 25, 2011 for Model Number gsd1930t65ww My 16 year old dishwasher stopped pumping water. What do I check first ?
1 Answer Hi Ed. You first need to remove the racks and use a shop vac. and tools to clean entire unit . This way it may save you money in case it is only clogged. You can use a pick tool to invert and flush out the wash arms where they have clogged especially on the ends. Then remove the t6op screen cover /filter and lay aside all parts so you can reinstall them one at a time. At the bottom half, there is a black 2-1/2 " diameter impeller which may be clogged and you are loosing pressure there. You will get to the chopper blade and then you are pretty much as about as far a you can go on a clean up. Inspect all parts and let us know if you need to replace anything. Thank You. -- Read More...
John November 15, 2011 for Model Number GSD2500G00BB My GE dishwasher is not getting the upper rack of dishes washed. Also not always draining either. I checked the drain hose and the wash arms for clogs or leaks. It is about 9 years old, could I have a pump problem ?
1 Answer Hello John. You will need to check and see if the drain solenoid WD21X10060 is bad in the unit. If so, it will cause the problems you are having. Also, check and make sure the water level is good in the dishwasher. if not, it will cause the dishes not to clean on the top rack. If it is low, replace the water valve WD15X10003. Hope this helps.
