Brad December 21, 2014 for Model Number JDP39BOW4BB Is JDB39BOW4BB model # the same as JDP39BW4BB, for my GE oven? Thanks.
1 Answer Brad, GE does not offer a model JDB39B0W4BB. I believe your model should read JDP39B0W4BB (you would use model JDP39BW4BB to locate parts). The replacement electronic control listed for your model is part number WB27X23660. Thanks. Read More...

Dan May 06, 2011 for Model Number JSP26BOW4AD This is a follow-up top my prior question. 1) Is JSP26BOW4AD same as JSP26BW4AD? The first is taken from the GE range. The second is the closest match I can find when searching online. 2) Please further explain, why should there be any voltage to the bake element when the oven is shut off? Shouldn't the control turn off both legs of the 240V? I do have 240V at the top burners, so know the circuit to the range is okay. Thanks again, Dan
1 Answer Hello Dan. Yes, that is the correct model number. One side of the elements run from the terminal block, the other side comes from the control. There is always 120 volts coming to the element with the oven pluged in. Hope this helps. Read More...
Dan B May 05, 2011 for Model Number JSP26BOW4AD I can find model JSP26BW4AD listed several places for GE electric range, but not JSP26BOW4AD. Are they the same? The oven control is allowing 45-50 volts to the lower element even when turned off. This happened after the lower element burned up with a flash and flames. I think the oven control is cooked do you agree? Thanks, Dan
1 Answer Hello Dan! With the element off you should still be pulling 120V on one side. You will need to check the voltage at your outlet at your home. If that is ok, you will have to trace where the shortage is coming from starting from the terminal. Hope this helps! Read More...
