Jim July 23, 2016 for Model Number PSS26MGSCWW I have had to replace my ice bucket assembly 3 times in the last 2 years. The last one has not broken completely, but I have to keep taking it out and clearing the ice out. When it hangs up the bucket jumps out of place. I do not see any way to reduce the size of the ice cubes. I know they drop out of the icemaker frozen together. Looks like I am going to have to learn how to repair the bucket to save money. Any help?
1 Answer Jim, Unfortunately there is no way to reduce the ice cube size on the unit but you could try to reduce the flow of water to the unit to not allow as much water to flow into the icemaker. This may help to reduce the issue that you are having. Read More...

Tim March 24, 2014 for Model Number pcs25psta When the ice falls out of the ice maker into the shute in the door, the stopper does not open automaticly. The ice just sits in the shute. Is this a mechicanical function or electronic?
1 Answer Tim, Most likely this is a part failure. The part that you will want to look at is the dispenser solenoid. If the solenoid is faulty it will keep the door from opening. In most cases this is caused by a rusty solenoid which would need to be replaced. Read More...
Karen K. November 08, 2012 for Model Number PSS26NSTC Refrigerator I found part #367 had come dislodged. I cannot find a diagram showing exactly how it is attached to the icemaker. Can you help me?
1 Answer Hi. This is the ice maker fill cup or fill spout, part # WR29X10109. It attaches to the ice maker mold and the fill tube coming through the wall in back will be inserted into the "u" shaped cut out on on the other end. "The ice maker is located in the upper rear of the freezer compartment and supplies ice to the dispenser tub. 1. Disconnect the ice maker cable connector. 2. Remove 1/4-in. ice maker mounting screws(2 screws) and slide out the ice maker." Thank You. Read More...
Eric October 05, 2011 for Model Number GSHF5KGXCCBB Is this part supposed to be filled with frozen water or empty when everything is opperating properly and the ice bucket is full?
1 Answer Hello Eric. The fill cup WR29X10109 should alway be empty unless, the unit fills the icemaker. The it will have water run through it into the icemaker. If it is frozen over, you will need to replace the water valve WR57X33326 on the unit. Hope this helps. Read More...
