The Icemaker Fill Cup is an OEM replacement part for GE refrigerators. This component is specifically designed to channel water from the fill tube into the ice mold.

Symptoms of a bad Icemaker Fill Cup include:

  • Water leakage inside the freezer, leading to ice accumulation
  • Inadequate or irregular ice production
  • The presence of unusual sounds during the ice-making process

Causes for a malfunctioning Icemaker Fill Cup can range from physical damage, such as cracks or warping due to temperature fluctuations, to blockages that impede the flow of water into the ice mold.

This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore refrigerators.

Hi. This is the ice maker fill cup or fill spout, part # WR29X10109. It attaches to the ice maker mold and the fill tube coming through the wall in back will be inserted into the "u" shaped cut out on on the other end. Remove 1/4-in. ice maker mounting screws(2 screws) and slide out the ice maker." Thank You.

Hello Eric. The fill cup WR29X10109 should alway be empty unless, the unit fills the icemaker. The it will have water run through it into the icemaker. If it is frozen over, you will need to replace the water valve WR57X33326 on the unit. Hope this helps.
