Joel S. May 28, 2017 for Model Number GSD900G-01 The detergent dispenser cup cover tends to not open when my wife closes the cover. However, if I close the cover gently, stopping immediately after I hear/feel the click, the door opens properly during the wash cycle. Should we just close it carefully and gently or is this a sign that a part is wearing excessively and it is best to replace it. If the latter, what part(s) do I need?

Troy January 04, 2017 for Model Number GSD900G-01 GE Potscrubber 900 - Soap dish door won't stay shut. I checked the springs on the lever and timer drive. None were broken. No posts where springs are fixed. I suspect the soap cup lid, since it has a beveled wear point of the curved stiffener portion on the underside. The photo in the catalogue does not clearly show that area of the lid. Is there a beveled section. I can send a photo. Thanks
