Model# scb2000cww03...After about a minute into cycle the led display starts to flicker,then unreadable.Display turns off!! Microwave works ok & finishes it's timed cycle. Wait 5 min.& time of day clock shows up on displ. Now time on display can be read to start a new cycle. Display goes crazy again in new cycle after 1 min. Stays dark until cycle is finished. Oven works o.K. Otherwise. Hope u tell me i don't need a new display..$$$$$$$ this is a built-in ge advantium speedcook oven..

Ron, You will want to check to make sure that the fans are running but this will most likely be a faulty display or wiring between the display and the control board.

My display was flickering all over the place for about a month or so, then today it decided to quit all-together. No buttons, no response from any thing other than occasional response from the clock setting sequence when powered on. I'm thinking it is more than just digitron since it is only a display. the microwave should work normally with it unplugged, so I did that and it still gave me no feedback (no beeps, no microwave start on when I hit "express"). Is this likely a main PCB (6871W1A406A) or the display? If both, a new microwave starts to make sense rather than putting another $500 in this one. Thoughts?

Todd, This issue would most likely be caused by a faulty microwave control board which would be part number WB27X10861.

The display on my GE Advantium microwave/oven display is flashing all over the place -- but when I use the oven for a short time the flashing stops. Can you tell me what part I need to replace and if I would be able to do the replacement myself.... Thanks

Lorie, This issue would most likely be caused by a faulty board WB27X10858.

My display flickers and then becomes scrambled after using it for a few minutes. After several minutes the display returns and just flickers. Otherwise the oven works fine. Is this the part I need to replace to fix this problem?

Hello David. First make sure all the connections on the unit are good and tight. If so, then you will need to replace the display WB27X10431.

The unit seems to work just fine. The display does not light up at all. I have located this part number AP2631635 as the digitron display. Does it sound like this should be the only part needing replacement?

Hello John. If everything still works except the display, you will need to order WB27X10431 for the part needed.

My GE Microwave the Display flashes all over the screen. Is it just the Digitron that needs to be replaced to fix this problem? What is the correct part number for this model?

Addison, the digitron display for a SCB1001KSS01 is WB27X10856 / WB27X10856. Based on the post information the component has power to it, but the circuits can't distinguish the correct LEDs to illuminate, the board is "scambled" replace the digitron and you should be fine.

My microwave works fine except for the "scrolling knob". All other buttons work fine along with display. The knob has quit scrolling and cannot scroll through other options. Is this board possibly a fix to this or just the knob?
