Beverly June 06, 2018 for Model Number SCB1000KBB01 I have a Advantiun 120 model SCB1000KBB 01 . The oven works and the bottom line on display lights when I use the oven ( oven, turn knob, and timer). The timer does work. But the other lines are blank and dark. What do you think I need replace?
1 Answer Beverly, This issue would most likely be caused by a faulty digitron which is part number WB27X10856. Read More...
Marty November 14, 2017 for Model Number GE Advantium 120 SCB1001KSS01 The digital display panel is acting up. Sometimes it just scrolls rapidly, randomly, and very fast. I turned off the breaker and waited more than an hour. When I turned it back on, it did the same thing. Left it on and it went back to normal, but it sometimes starts going dim and scrolling out of control. If I catch it right the unit will still turn on and work. Reading on your sight it seems I need the Digitron AP3883432. I don't suppose the part is returnable? Would that be your opinion as well? It is working correctly now, but I need to be sure it is permanently fixed so I don't get caught needing it and it not working. Thank you
1 Answer Hello Marty, This sounds like the digitron WB27X10856 would be the issue. It would not be returnable unless it had not been installed and still in the original packaging. Read More...
Larry E July 19, 2017 for Model Number SCB1001KSS01 My microwave will work but the display has a curser going through the time. It will also quit after use and works fine if I reset the breaker. The display has also gone blank on several occasions during use. I know it could be several parts but I am just trying to identify which is most likely to have failed.
1 Answer Larry, The power board on this unit WB27X10861 would be the most likely cause for the issue with your microwave. Read More...
Lionel July 08, 2016 for Model Number SCB1001MSS01 Microwave still works but main display is dark. (Display is the one with the clock.) Do I need a new Digitron, P/N PS1018741? Is this easily changed out? Is there a cable attached?
1 Answer Hello Lionel. Check the wiring connections on the digitron WB27X10856. If they are good then you will need to replace the part. These are not easy to change and they do have a ribbon cable coming to them. Pay attention to how you remove the old one so you can install the new one properly. Read More...
Alex October 16, 2015 for Model Number PSB1201NSS-01 I have a GE Advantium Microwave, built in 2011. The digital display is divided into two sections - the lower section (Oven/Turn Dial...etc) works. But the upper section of the digital display that illuminates my actual sections (like dialing the amount of seconds to actually request) is blank - no illumination. I can remember the series of basic selections for heating coffee, and so my selections still work - and I can heat coffee. But without the display, I am (literally) in the dark as to other selections. So the underlying system still works. I just can't get the display to work. Is there a specific part?
1 Answer Alex, The most likely cause for the display to not work would be a faulty display board. The part number that would be needed is WB27X10856. Read More...
