Jack J October 16, 2013 for Model Number PSS27SHMB I've replaced the gasket, and the seal looks good, but there isn't much (any) pull on the freezer door. Not compared to that of the refrigerator door. Is the pulling pressure caused by a cam on the door? Is this a concern? Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Jack. Heat the gasket. Close the door and apply pressure for about 15 to 20 minutes to form the gasket to the frame of the unit. Read More...

Rod P. November 10, 2011 for Model Number PSC23SGRCSS Do I need any glue or adhesive to install a new freezer door gasket ? I am ordering a new gasket. Do I need anything else?
1 Answer Hello Rod! No glue or adhesive is needed when installing the gaskets on your refrigerator/freezer door. Pull the old gasket off. It may be best to soak the new gasket in warm water to help take its shape/form. The new gasket will press into the door liner. You may need to use a hair dryer to form the seal, be careful not to melt it. Hope this helps, thanks! Read More...
