Booth March 29, 2019 I have a profile ge gas range. Soon after I bought it the thin metal veneers on all the knobs began to wrinkle and peel off. Now, they are all a wreck. I spray painted them to look better, but that doesn't look good either. Why are they so expensive? They seem to be very junkie. I would love my stove to look better, but is there any other solution than paying $160 plus for and have these new knobs do the same thing?

The stainless finish should not easily wrinkle and peel as the items are designed to be indirectly near heat.
