Louis November 19, 2017 I'm looking for an all metal appliance knob for a GE electric dryer. It needs to fit a 1/4" stem. At this point, I don't care if it matches the original knobs or not. The plastic knobs for the GE dryer eventually crack in the middle of the shaft rendering them useless. The knob needs to take the larger torque required to turn the dryer selection. Plastic eventually breaks down and the knob keeps turning. The center insert does not help either. Thanks, Louis Desmarais

I am interested in this part because I see that several people think that this part is made of metal rather than plastic. I understand that the part that will definitely fit is WB03K10305 but it is plastic. Please confirm. 1 Answer Stella, The correct burner knob for the model number you supplied is WB03X43926 / WB03K10305. The knobs have been upgraded and revised recently, and you may want to try the correct part once more. The WB03T10266 / WB03T10266 will also "fit" your range should you decide to use that part instead. But, both knob assembly(s) are made of plastic, coated/painted in a stainless steel finish.
