Uncle Ernie, Check harness integrity and continuity from the mainboard to the lid lock assembly. If good, ensure harness connections are fully seated both at the mainboard and lid lock assembly. If the harness tests good, replace the lid lock assembly, the part number WH08X37938 The new part comes with a white moisture barrier. Do not remove this from the new part.

Melinda, It would be recommended to put this unit into a service diagnostic mode and see if there are any stored error codes as this will guide you to what may be wrong. On this issue, it sounds like it could be an actuator issue but the diagnostic will give you a better idea.

Sam, There is a test for the lid latch in service mode and we just sent you the tech sheet. Use this test instead of jumping anything out.

Keith, We are sending you the tech sheet. You will need to enter field service mode to check for fault codes. There is a service bulletin on the unit about detecting out of balance and not spinning out but will spin in manual test. This would require a software update and comes with instructions WH98R23015001 It also says the no drain can be from small particules blocking the impellar and a new design has been issued if you replace thew pump.

John, If the unit is not draining then you will want to check to see if there is power coming off the main control board to the drain pump. If there is no power and the door is locked then this will likely be a faulty control board.
