Mtl September 20, 2017 for Model Number PEB7226SF1SS Hi I have a quick question the magnetron on my GE microwave has gone and I see that the magnetron in the unit was a Daewoo part (RM269) my local parts store only have a LG make magnetron in stock ((2M226) in stock, they told me that it can work in my unit, but I am not sure. Can it? I really need my microwave this weekend (I have 2 teenagers!)

Rick W. April 13, 2017 for Model Number ZSC1001KSS01 My microwave makes a loud continuous noise and doesn't heat. I've narrowed it down to the diode or magnetron. If I disconnect the magnetron and start it, it doesn't make the noise so I'm thinking the magnetron is the problem. That being said, your parts list shows the magnetron is no longer available?
1 Answer Hello Rick, The magnetron for the model provided is WB26X32629 and is in stock. I'm sorry but as per the manufacturer, there is no conclusive test for the magnetron to determine if it is good or not unless the magnetron tube is burned, which indicates a failure. Read More...
Lonnie January 31, 2016 for Model Number Je1590wc001 My I start my microwave I see a bright spark from behind the removable thing on the side. Is this the magnetron? If so is it available and easy to change?

Arlene October 11, 2015 for Model Number #SCA2000MD900024K I saw a spark and heard a loud "pop" that came from the control panel when I started the microwave. The microwave no longer works. Is this a fuse problem or something else and can I replace this part myself? I know the control panel comes off and there are fuses inside, but I don't know how to remove the panel. Any suggestions?
1 Answer Hello Arlene. You will need to test the fuse in the unit. The best way to access the fuse is to remove the outer cover off the microwave. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Don P September 22, 2015 for Model Number PEB2060SM1SS How do you replace a magnetron tube on the profile microwave? Is it a difficult process?
1 Answer Hello Don. MAGNETRON REPLACEMENT 1. Discharge capacitor. 2. Disconnect magnetron leads. 3. Remove 3 screws securing the magnetron. 4. Removed the magnetron assembly until the tube is clear from the waveguide. When replacing the Magnetron, be certain that RF gasket is in place and mounting screws tight. Failure to do so could result in hazardous levels of microwave leakage. Perform microwave leakage test. Read More...

Peter July 02, 2011 for Model Number JVM1631CJ01 Hi. It appears that I need to replace the magnetron and diode in my GE Spacemaker JVM1631CJ01. Some instructions that I found on the internet say that upon replacement, the "stirrer" needs to be replaced at the same time. It also says that I should be able to get a kit with the magnetron, diode, and the stirrer assembly for this model. Do you sell anything like that? I notice that the stirrer assembly doesn't even have numbers in the diagram - is that because it comes in a kit with another part? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
1 Answer Hellp Peter! It does not seem that your model has a stirrer. There is not kit available for the parts you are speaking of. For the magnetron use part number and for the diode WB26X32629 use part number WB27X10037. Thanks! Read More...
