Tom April 09, 2019 for Model Number JGB281SER2SS Hi I just asked about changing from LP to NG and my son gave me the wrong stove mod#. What orifice do I need to change and other parts do I need --- sorry for the mix up
1 Answer Tom, you would need to replace the burner tubes which are as follows: left front WB28K10627, left rear WB28K10625, right rear WB28K10626, and right front WB28K10624. You will also need to adjust the regulator from lp to ng. Unscrew the plastic-protected hex nut cap. Completely remove the protective plastic cap off the threaded metal cap. Turn the metal cap so the type of gas being converted to is displayed and replace the protective plastic cover. Screw the hex-nut cap back into the regulator. Don´t over tighten. From there you will need to adjust oven burner hoods by rotating them counter clockwise 2 1/2 turns with a 1/2" wrench and then adjust the burner shutter to 1/2 closed and adjust as necessary to get a blue flame from the burners. Todd Lappin November 16, 2018 for Model Number GE jgb660sejss Hi, I just purchased this new natural gas range and need to convert the burner to LP. It has five burner on top. The BTU ratings of the 5 burners are 5000, 9,500, 10,000, 12,000, and 18,000. What orifice spuds are required for the conversion? Thanks you very much for your help. -Todd
1 Answer Todd, The :P conversion kit and instructions should have come with the new range. If you remove the storage drawer, you should find the conversion kit attached to the area near the oven gas safety valve and the gas pressure regulator. If not the conversion kit part number is WB28X39132 / WB28X24757 Kit LP Conversion. The part is in stock and available at this time. Thanks, Read More...

Dunhr December 16, 2017 for Model Number JGB700DEJZBB GE GAS RANGE This is a natural gas range converted properly to propane. The orifices are propane and the gas regulator set for propane. The four cooktop burners have been adjusted to their lowest setting by removing each control knob and turning the set screw for the lowest flame. The smallest burner when set on low still produces more heat than I'd like. The orifice is rated at 5,000 btu. Is it possible to purchase and install an orifice rated at less than 5,000 btu? Thank-you.
1 Answer Dunhr, There is not an orifice that would be smaller than the 5K orifice for this. Ensure that the Left rear orifice has lettering on the side that is 66L. If it has any other number it would be too large. The part number for the LP orifice for this burner would be WB28K10834. Read More...
