The Oven Door Handle Endcap is an OEM part for GE ovens. This endcap attaches to the ends of the oven door handle, providing a finished look and ensuring a secure grip for opening and closing the oven door.

You should replace the oven door handle endcap if it becomes cracked, broken, or loose. Causes of a bad endcap can include frequent use, accidental impact, or exposure to high temperatures that can weaken the material over time.

Symptoms of a bad oven door handle endcap include:

  • The handle feeling loose or wobbly
  • Cracks or visible damage on the endcap
  • Difficulty in opening or closing the oven door
  • The endcap detaching from the handle

This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.

Nm for Model Number JBP66B0B2WH

Sticker lists model number JBP66B0B2WH (O or 0 is unclear, so perhaps JBP66BOB2WH). 1. Both endcaps are broken, so seems like two of this part (https://www.appliancepartspros.com/ge-oven-door-handle-wb07x10034-ap3623187.html) would suffice, is that correct? Would this "updated" full-handle version also fit? https://www.appliancepartspros.com/ge-handle-door-blk-wb15x10047-ap2021196.html 2. The right door hinge was sticking completely - it came open after lubricating, but still sticks a little bit (thus breaking the door handle while pulling too hard). When it was stuck completely I was only able to spray PB blaster in until it opened. Can the hinge just be "properly" re-greased to fix the sticking completely? Or does the hinge need to be replaced altogether? Here are several images: https://ibb.co/album/t3JB3y?sort=date_asc Thanks!

John, This range has a slide arm for the door lock assembly. If it will not slide to open then lift the main top and see if you can access the latch and see what may be causing it to bind up.

Ed, The handle endcap will be part number WB7X7183 and to remove the old encap you would need to open the door of the unit and remove the screw holding it in place.
