Part Number: OEM11660136
Manufacturer Part Number: WB16K10061

This oven pilot assembly with thermocouple maintains a steady pilot flame and proves flame presence to the safety valve so the oven burner can ignite and stay on. Replace when the pilot won't hold or oven ignition is inconsistent.

  • Supplies the constant pilot flame needed to light the oven burner
  • Thermocouple sends a flame-present signal to allow/hold gas flow to the burner
  • Helps resolve issues like the pilot going out, burner not lighting, or oven shutting off mid-cycle
  • Restores consistent oven ignition on pilot-equipped models
What's included: One oven pilot assembly with attached thermocouple. Install notes:
  • Shut off gas supply and power; allow the appliance to cool before servicing
  • Note routing and mounting before removal; install the new assembly in the same orientation
  • After reconnecting lines, check all joints for leaks with an approved leak-detection solution
  • Verify a stable pilot flame and proper burner ignition after installation

For Ge Oven Pilot With Thermocouple (Part Number: OEM11660136)

Jason, You will want to pull the pilot and make sure that it is clean and if it is and no gas is flowing to it then this would most likely be a thermostat as the pilot gas feed will come from the thermostat.

Shirley, Since you have a pilot light and the oven burner ignites and overheats, you won't need the WB16K10061 Oven Burner with Thermocouple. You may need the oven thermostat WB20K10033 / Modulating Thermostat. Depending on the difference in the oven temperature (+/- 25 dgrs.F.) you may want to adjust the oven thermostat knob, before you replace the thermostat. If the temperature is more than 25 dgrs.F. off, you'll need to replace the thermostat.

Oliver, On this style range, you most likely have a failed thermostat WB20K10013. If the oven burner pilot light is lit, remains lit and has a constant size and color, then the main valve inside the thermostat isn't reacting properly to the thermocouple and not releasing the gas to ignite the burner. The part is in stock and available at this time. Thanks,

Jim, No, the thermo couple doesn't need to be replaced. The thermostat WB20K10013 needs to be converted back to Nat Gas. There should be a bag or envelope near the regulator with the pins and instructions inside. If not you'll need to replace the thermostat, it comes from the factory preset for natural gas.

Hello Eric. it sounds like the thermostat is not turning off the gas to the burner. You need to make sure the temp probe is in the correct location on the unit.

Hello Hadi, You actually access the burner/pilot/thermocouple by removing the oven bottom inside the bake compartment. After removing the racks you will see two screws near the back on the bottom. When removed, you can slip the bottom forward, (towards the front of the unit), raise the back of the bottom panel and slide it back to unhook it from the lip in the front. You will see the assembly as soon as you remove this bottom panel.
