Jason June 18, 2018 for Model Number RGB524PPH2WH Pilot light in oven section will not lite and there is no smell of gas like I would normally have when it goes out, could that be a clog in the line? Top burner pilot's are lit and still work.
1 Answer Jason, You will want to pull the pilot and make sure that it is clean and if it is and no gas is flowing to it then this would most likely be a thermostat as the pilot gas feed will come from the thermostat. Read More...
1 Answer Shirley, Since you have a pilot light and the oven burner ignites and overheats, you won't need the WB16K10061 Oven Burner with Thermocouple. You may need the oven thermostat WB20K10033 / Modulating Thermostat. Depending on the difference in the oven temperature (+/- 25 dgrs.F.) you may want to adjust the oven thermostat knob, before you replace the thermostat. If the temperature is more than 25 dgrs.F. off, you'll need to replace the thermostat. Read More...
Gerry June 06, 2016 for Model Number SF362LXTQ2 The oven lights when turned on but the flame shuts off when the igniter stops. I can hear a click when it shuts off like a valve is closing.
1 Answer Hello Gerry, This can be the spark module WPW10331686 failing or a bad oven valve WPW10293048. Read More...
Oliver June 03, 2016 for Model Number JGBS04PPH2WH My oven and burners will not light. There is no striker sound. What part might be defective?
1 Answer Oliver, On this style range, you most likely have a failed thermostat WB20K10013. If the oven burner pilot light is lit, remains lit and has a constant size and color, then the main valve inside the thermostat isn't reacting properly to the thermocouple and not releasing the gas to ignite the burner. The part is in stock and available at this time. Thanks, Read More...

Jim July 06, 2015 for Model Number JGBS04PPH2WW I am working on a gas oven that was supposed to have been converted to LP gas. The problem I'm finding is the pilot flame in the oven is too high and it allows the oven to lite instantly, instead of the usual 30-60 second wait. Did the thermal couple need to changed as part of the conversion?
1 Answer Jim, No, the thermo couple doesn't need to be replaced. The thermostat WB20K10013 needs to be converted back to Nat Gas. There should be a bag or envelope near the regulator with the pins and instructions inside. If not you'll need to replace the thermostat, it comes from the factory preset for natural gas. Eric B March 05, 2015 for Model Number RGB524PPH6WH My gas range oven is overheating. After you set the oven temperature it continues to climb until reaching over 500*. It does not make any difference where you set the knob. I assumed it was the thermostat. I replaced the thermostat and it is still doing the same thing. What else could be the problem?
1 Answer Hello Eric. it sounds like the thermostat is not turning off the gas to the burner. You need to make sure the temp probe is in the correct location on the unit. Read More...
1 Answer Hello Teresa. Unfortunately, we do not have the length of the thermocouple. Sorry about that. Read More...
Hadi B. July 21, 2014 for Model Number AGBS300PJ1WW When I look at the back of the stove I am not sure how I can take out the cover to replace the Oven Pilot with Thermocouple. Can you give me some tip or documentation that make this job easier for me? Do you have any sketches for this repair to help? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Hadi, You actually access the burner/pilot/thermocouple by removing the oven bottom inside the bake compartment. After removing the racks you will see two screws near the back on the bottom. When removed, you can slip the bottom forward, (towards the front of the unit), raise the back of the bottom panel and slide it back to unhook it from the lip in the front. You will see the assembly as soon as you remove this bottom panel. Read More...
