Hello Daniel. The inlet should be 1/2" and that is the one for the gas line and the outlet should be 3/8" for the regulator WB19K10001.

Hello Clyde. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like you will need to test the gas pressure after the regulator. If it is high, you may need to replace the valve and the regulator WB19K10001 on the unit.

Hello Clyde, Since I'm not there to assess the situation first hand, I have to recommend the replacement of the burner and the thermostat. Gas is a very touchy thing to work with as everything has to be in very tight tolerance. If you still notice an issue after these parts are replaced, you should contact your utility board who provides your gas and have them check the pressure to the unit. Of course they will know, but they need to check the pressure at the appliance which places the pressure test after the gas pressure regulator at the tank/meter. The pressure regulator on the appliance regulates pressure for the surface burners also. Since you mentioned no issue with the surface burners, it cannot be part of the issue.

Brian, If you look really close and the red lever, You'll probably find a cracked or missing segment on the lever, near the opening for the pin that holds the lever to the shut off shaft. If you're lucky and nothing is broken or cracked, you will need to extend the shaft out with a pair of needle nose pliers, until you can align the holes in the lever to the hole in the shaft, then insert the roll pin through the opening until it protrudes at both ends. Good Luck and Thanks

Mike for Model Number GE Self-Cleaning XL44

I use LP gas, but the problem has nothing to do with the burners, all of which work perfectly. It is the OVEN that makes the intermittent whooshing noise which, incidentally, does not affect the temperature or ability to cook the food. The copper tubing to the stove was replaced, but has made no difference. Again, the repairman thinks it's the regulator that is "going". Is he right? (He also told me it was cheaper to buy a new stove, which patently it isn't. Thanks. Look forward to a solution. Christmas is coming!

Hello Mike. It is normal to have the whooshing noise inside the oven with LP Gas. However, it you didn't have problems with this before, then there are two things that can cause this. First thing is a weak igniter. If it takes a while for the gas to lite after the igniter comes on, then you will need to replace the igniter. If the igniter is working properly, then you will need to replace the regulator WB19K10001. Hope this helps.

Mike, If your range is using LP gas, it could be normal. If you're using Nat gas as the supply, You could have a regulator issue, Either way the first thing to check is the burner igniter and wiring, make sure there are no loose connection, check and make sure the fuel air mixture is correct, You may have to adjust the shutter on the burner tube if the burner flame is too small or has too much yellow or white tipping of the flame. and make sure the burner flame encompasses the igniter,to keep a " slightly red glow" to the igniter with the flame from the burner. Thanks and Good Luck

Hi Chuck. Yes it sounds like your pressure regulator is defective. Does it make a chatter noise also? this part # is WB19K10001. Also consider the oven glow bar over working and weak. This part # is WB13K21. Thank you.

We have a GE XL44 Self-Cleaning Gas Convection Range. We've been having intermittent problems with the oven lighting. Following the troubleshooting tips in the owners manual, I tried to check the position of the oven gas shut-off valve lever, the red tab in the photo at your website of part number AP2022763. In the process of moving it to try to determine if it was open or closed, it popped off! My husband and I have tried and tried to put it back on, but the presure regulator is in a very awkward location and we have been unsuccessful. Is there a trick you can share about putting it back on? Nothing broke, it just popped out of the groove. We think the oven probably needs a new glowbar, but that won't do any good if we can't get the gas flowing again! Thank you very much for any help.

By the picture, it looks like it has a pin that holds it on. Check and see if your pin broke. Hope this helps.

I can tell you that part# AP2022763 is the correct pressure regular for your model however. You will have a short weak fluttering flame. You might also hear a chattering noise coming from the regulator itself. You may be able to find answers by searching in the range section or you can post your own questions. Be sure to provide your model and serial numbers. Here is the link http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/ Thanks!
