Keith November 02, 2013 for Model Number 362 72205891 I am confused on which way the plastic pin should face for natural gas. It says nat on one end and LP on the other but should nat be pushed into the cap or nat be sticking out of the cap?
1 Answer Keith, For the unit to be set for natural gas you will want the nat side of the pin facing the regulator. Read More...

Bill November 01, 2013 for Model Number 362.75885891 Hi - I have model # 362.75885891 Kenmore range and want to switch it over from NG to LP. I see you have a conversion kit # WB28K10048. This should work for all four burners right? The question I have is what about the oven orifice change? I have no manual.... Thanks, Bill
1 Answer Hello Bill! Yes, conversion kit part number WB28K10048 includes the orifices needed to convert the cooktop. You'll need to flip the pin on the regulator to LP and adjust the oven orifice. You will need to bottom the orifice out and come back up one and a half turns. Adjust the burner flame until it is blue. Hope this helps. Thanks. Read More...
Martin August 03, 2013 for Model Number jgbp35wea2ww I purchaced a pressure regulator but i still get a low flame on the top burners and the oven. does the safty valve have anything to do with the top burners? I did get a reading on the safty valve and opened and closed the regulator and cleaned all debree that would cause the stove not to light. But my problem seems to be a low gas flow.
1 Answer Martin, You will want to have the gas pressure checked to make sure that you are getting proper gas supply. If on natural it may be that the gas company may have been doing work in the area and the lines got clogged and if on LP you will want to make sure that your tank has an adequate supply. Read More...
John M July 30, 2013 for Model Number JGBP30WEA8WW I am having a problem with the bake burner heating up. I replaced the igniter, still nothing. I took the end of a hammer and tapped on the gas valve and regulator and the gas came on , then went off. The control valve feels warm and the volts ac is 2.3.
1 Answer Hello John. Based on the information you provided, you have a voltage issue. There should be 3.2 to 3.6 VAC at the safety valve. If not, then either the voltage to the unit is low, or there is a wiring issue, if the igniter is new and not bad. Read More...
Kevin July 01, 2013 for Model Number jgbp90meb3bc How do I convert this range from lp to natural gas.
1 Answer Kevin, To change the unit from LP to natural you will need 2 of part number WB28K10022 Medium orifice for the Left front and left rear burners, 1 part number WB28K10029 small orifice for the right rear and 1 of part number WB28K10030 Large orifice for the Right front burner. For the oven burners you will turn the orifices approximately 2 1/2 turns counter clockwise. Close off the air shutters and flip the regulator cap to NAt. Read More...
Carol June 14, 2013 for Model Number JGBP28BEA6WH my burners and broilers works fine. the problem is the oven does not heat up at all.
1 Answer Carol, Like most gas operated ranges, the most likely issue is the oven bake burner igniter WB2X9154. especially when all the other burners operate properly. A weak or broken igniter, will not allow the oven burner to open and ignite the gas to bake. The igniter needs to produce a 2.5 to 3.0 amp draw (round igniter) to open the safety valve, and ignite. Joel D November 06, 2012 for Model Number 36275990000 How do I change the gas regulator (WB19K10001) to natural gas from propane?
Richard November 01, 2012 for Model Number JGB915SEFISS My oven has a problem heating up. It gets to about 100 deg, but no more. the broiler works fine, and the stovetop works fine. A repair guy came out and tapped on what I thought was the pressure regulator, and the stove heated up properly after that. BUT, he said I needed a new oven Safety valve, which is a different part! I am confused now. COuld my problem indeed be the Pressure Regulator, and NOT the Oven Safety Valve?? thanks
1 Answer Hello Richard. No, the issue is the safety valve, not the regulator. It does not affect the regulator to tap on it, but it does the gas safety valve WB19K36. Read More...
Bob October 22, 2012 for Model Number 36275201891 No gas will ignite with normal ingnition. If I try to light a top burner with a match a very small uneven flame will light. I think it is a regulator problem.
1 Answer Hi. Without a manometer part # TJ45506 to measure the gas amount on a burner orifice then it will be an educated guess at this point. Did you recently have any gas appliance repair recently? Do all the other house gas appliances work OK? Throttle the shut of valve a few times to see if there is any internal debris momentarily clogging the pressure regulator part # WB19K10001. Turn the ON/OFF lever on the pressure regulator to see if it is partially open. Tap on the pressure regulator while the top burner is working to see any positive change. Make sure all orifice's and burner pilot holes are clear to accept the fuel pressure. Thank You. Read More...
