Wet Dishes July 31, 2022 for Model Number GDF570SSF7SS dishes always wet at end of cycle. I put the unit is a diagnostic mode the other day to isolate the heating element...it worked fine. just today I repeated the diagnostic test, and the element did not work. The element and thermal cutout test ok with a resistance test. I suspect the main pc (WD21X24899)...suggestions?

Wallace May 22, 2022 for Model Number GDT580SGF6WW The water recirculation pump stops working after about 5 min, and will not work if the machine is restarted. Tried resetting board by pushing Start and cycle buttons for 5 seconds also shut power and the machine still has issue. When in service mode the normal light does not flash it is just lit. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
1 Answer Wallace, if the main control WD21X24899 on the bottom of the dishwasher is accessed, there will be a service LED that can indicate a failure based on the number of flashes within 3 seconds. If it is only flashing once per 3 seconds, the connection J703 would need to be tested for 120VAC from the brown and red wire at pin 3 to the yellow and black wire at pin 2 during a cycle. Eric November 18, 2020 for Model Number GDT580SGF6WW Dishwasher control doesn't light up unless I push START and SELECT CYCLE at the same time. Everything lights up, display has no codes. When the start button is pressed the lights all go out but for the two panel lock buttons. Pressing any button at this point clears the remaining lights and the control panel is again unresponsive. This all occurred after a series of power blips during a wind storm. I was thinking the Service Machine Control might be the culprit but would appreciate a professional opinion. Many Thanks!!
1 Answer Eric, it would be recommended that the main control WD21X24899 is inspected for a blinking LED when the start button is pressed. If it blinks in a pattern of 3 times every 3 seconds, then the main control is attempting to run a cycle but is not sending voltage and it would need to be replaced. Read More...
Andrew May 03, 2020 for Model Number gdf620hmj2es All the dishwasher LED display lights show up and it does the correct cycles and drains but the water is not hot and it does not dry the dishes either. I took it out and tested the heating element and got 16 ohms. When I turned the power back on and ran the diagnosis tool for the heater I did not get any voltage readings coming into the heating element lead connections. Is the issue the Service Machine control? Have not taken it out and looked for the LED light flashing yet but was not sure what code to look for as well.

Joe October 13, 2019 for Model Number GDT580SMF7ES Dishwasher control doesn't light up unless I push START and SELECT CYCLE at the same time. Then 817 comes up on the display and all lights light for a few seconds. Then the display and lights go out and the LOCK CONTROLS light comes on until I press something on the control. Then that light goes out too. The ui control board has been changed with no change. I suspect the main control board. What do you think?
