Neil August 31, 2021 for Model Number GDT695SSJ0SS I have a GE Model GDT695SSJ0SS dishwasher that needs a replacement board. The part number that I was told I need to order is WD21X22949, but when I search for the part number I get redirected to part # WD21X24901. Did GE replace the control board part # WD21X22949 with the WD21X24901? Has anyone experienced issues using the recommended replacement part number?
1 Answer Neil, the main control WD21X24901C for the model provided is a manufacturer direct replacement for the original part number WD21X22949. Read More...
Lucas July 29, 2021 for Model Number GDP615HBMOTS hI I have a GE dishwasher. It went dead one night no nothing lights beeps nothing. I took a look at the led on the main board and its hyper flashing and no stops just flashing. I have been all over the internet trying to find the problem and cant do you have any idea what the problem might be? Its not the boards main or ui all connections look good. I cant get in ant service mode because nothing works plz help thanks.
1 Answer Lucas, With no lights on the display, this would most likely be an issue with the UI control board. Even though the connections look good it does not mean that the control is good. Read More...
Dave Buford June 14, 2021 for Model Number ZDT915SSJ0SS Washer is 4 years old. Will not start or show any display in the LED window. Selected diagnostic mode and have an F-6 error code. Have tried multiple power downs from breaker with code clearing then returns...with still no power to start the washer. Lowered the control panel and have a flashing green LED on the panel. Holding at this point for some insight. Thanks
1 Answer Dave B, Based on the information provided I would start with checking for a leak at the flood switch under the dishwasher..." a flashing Led is an indication that the control is waiting to start, or the door is open. If there is a leak detected the dishwasher will not start until the water is cleared from the floor protect pan. If there is no leak or water in the floor protect pan you could have a communications error with the board, check all connections to the board," Read More...
Brian May 29, 2021 for Model Number GDT695SMJ2ES The light on the machine control board is solid red. No blinking. Is this correct? None of the buttons work on the dishwasher controls. Thanks.
1 Answer Brian, The light on the control board should be flashing at least 1 time per second. This would indicate that it is in standby mode. If it is not flashing at all then this would be a software error and the control board will need to be replaced. Read More...
Nick April 30, 2021 for Model Number AP6974215 I purchased the AP6974215 board and the LED on it is solid green. The dishwasher has no power at all. Is there any other control board that needs to be changed? Thank you
1 Answer Hello Nick, I'm sorry but since replacement parts for appliances are listed by model number, we would have to have the model number from your units' I.D. tag to recommend parts that can be guaranteed to fit and work properly on your unit. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More...

Eric July 21, 2020 for Model Number GDT695S MJOES There is no power on the panel. I have reset all of the gfci circuits as well as the main breaker. None of the buttons will work, lint or beep. Dishwasher was turned off mid cycle then reset after that it would not turn back on
1 Answer Hello Eric, normally doing that in mid cycle should not have affected the dishwasher. At this point you will need a multimeter, access the lower main control board and check for 120v at the J701 connector and inspect the board for any visible problems. Read More...
Den March 27, 2020 for Model Number DDT95SSJOSS The machine won't start. Replaced door latch to no avail. LED's on the top panel indicate the door is open. Have tried resetting, no good. Checking the bottom control board, there does not seem to be any service LED present. Is the control board for our machine supposed to have a service LED, or does it use the top control board? I don't want to buy the bottom control board without knowing I really need it or will fix the problem. Thanks, Den
1 Answer Den, the main control WD21X24901C at the bottom of the dishwasher should have a blinking LED showing the status of the machine. If this LED is not blinking, and there is a verified 120VAC going to the machine, then the main control has failed. Read More...
Tim February 20, 2020 for Model Number GDT655SMJ0ES Hello. I have this GE dishwasher and it will not recognize the door being closed. The door light will not come on when the door is open or closed and when I close the door and push start both the start light and door light blink and the dishwasher beeps to indicate the door is open. I have disconnected power to try and reset but same thing. I checked the door switch and is operable. Just to make sure I even replaced the door switch. I went into the error code mode and it indicated door open also. Wondering if main control board is next option.
1 Answer Tim, the wires would need to be inspected for loose connections and tested for continuity to ensure there are no breaks in the wires (from the main control to the latch). If the wires check good, then the failure would indeed be in the main control WD21X24901C. Read More...
Ryan February 13, 2020 for Model Number GDT695SMJ2ES Hi, i have a GE GDT695SMJ2ES. every other day or so it will completely die, need to flip of the breaker for 10 mins or so and it comes back. No lights, no beeps, nothing. Randomly, when it is working, it will beep. between cycles, beeps every 3-4 hours. My question is do yall think its the main circuit (WD21X24901). or the UI circuit (AP6279241). When its unresponsive the top of the door has power (using a non-contact voltage tester). Thanks!
1 Answer Ryan, We would suspect the WD21X31902C / WD21X23462 Kit Svc Ui Top Logic as the culprit. Based on the information, the U/I board has a "glitch" and causes the beeping, or go "dead". Removing and resetting the power resets the control boards(like rebooting a computer) until the U/I circuit fails and creates the issue again. Read More...
