Saul November 09, 2016 for Model Number TPX24PP Need replacement 1/4" tubing for the water pushfit hookup to the solenoid valves at the back of the fridge. What part number is that? Also could you send me a diagram showing where the tubing goes to from each soolenoid? (specifically need to know where the 2 tubes coming from the back top right part of the fridge go to as well as the back top left tube) Thanks
1 Answer Saul, The part number for the 1/4" tube would be WR2X9245. For the way that the tubing is connected to the water valve would be the tube that is on the left from the filter going down the back of the unit would go to the orange connection point on the valve. The other tubing will go to the gray connection point. The other larger tube will go to the larger opening on the valve and the 1/4" tube will go to the smaller port. Read More...
Mukund May 20, 2015 for Model Number TXF25CRBC BB (GE Double door refrigerator 1999 Model) I have a water tube (plastic) that is in the back of the refrigerator is leaking. It appears it goes from control unit (solenoid ??) to the water cooling system and then onwards to the dispenser. How to I replace it? Can I cut it and put the patch with the connector or their is a better way?
1 Answer Hello Mukund. It sounds like your talking about the 5/16" line and you can use a union connector WR02X11330 and cut out the bad section and install this to fix the leak. Read More...
Ken L September 02, 2014 for Model Number TFX30PPBGBB Several of the water lines on my fridge are leaking. There is one line that runs from the original solenoid/valve to the filter, then another runs back from the filter to another valve behind the original valve. Then two tubes leave that valve assembly, one goes to the door to dispense water and the other goes to the icemaker. The first three tubes all appear to be the same size but the icemaker tube appears to be different. What part numbers do I want for the first three tubes and which part number for the icemaker tube? Are the first three 5/16" and is the icemaker tube 1/4"? Thanks Ken League
1 Answer Ken, The tubing that runs from the valve to the filter and then back to the secondary valve would be part of the filter head assembly which is part number WR17X10452 which has been discontinued with no replacement available. The tubing that goes from the secondary valve to the dispenser would be part of the water tank and is part number WR17X4358. The tubing for the icemaker would be part number WR17X11349. Read More...
Margaret July 27, 2014 for Model Number TFX27FKC When using the cold water dispenser water leaks on the floor. What repair part should I tell the repairman to bring so he doesn't have to make a return visit and only one service fee is involved? Thank You.
1 Answer Margaret, It sounds like the tubing to the water valve is broken. This would most likely be the water line that goes to the water tank of the unit. Read More...
Greg April 19, 2014 for Model Number kenmore 363.9565522 The ice maker refill tube inside the freezer continues to freeze up before the ice maker gets enough water to operate correctly. What would cause this?

Paul July 23, 2013 How do you remove this tube from the top and at the bottom? Does it pull out ? WR17X11349 I have the tube but not sure on how to replace with new tube? Thank you!
1 Answer Hello Paul, There should be a clamp at the top of the tube that holds it to the fill tube. The bottom will either have a screw on type connector or a john guess fitting. This end will connect to the water valve. If it is a john guess fitting you will need to push it toward the valve and press in on the ring around the line at the same time. While holding the ring in, pull on the line to remove it. To re-insert the line, push it in and then push even harder. It should "pop" in about 1/4 of an inch further. Now simply pull on the line to seat the seal. Read More...

Blazer July 23, 2013 How do you remove this tube ? Does it pull out ? WR17X11349 I have the tube but not sure on how to replace with new tube ? Thank you !
1 Answer Blazer, The tube, where it connects to the water valve, there is a ring on the water valve around the tube that you push in on and pull out on the tube at the same time. Read More...
Michel May 20, 2013 for Model Number TFX26CRDABB The water dispenser won't stop flowing. I have to turn the water off to get it to stop. The button doesn't appear to be stuck and switching it to the ice settings does not stop the water. Any ideas?
Jerry80 May 10, 2013 for Model Number TFX27PPBA Hi - I'm looking for the water line, that goes from the back of the freezer to the ice maker. The water line from the solenoid to the top of the freezer and 90 degrees into the freezer is all there, just the line from there to the ice maker is missing. Thank Jerry80
1 Answer Jerry, Based on the information, you need the "Water Fill Tube" WR2X8668 This is the plastic tube that inserts into the grommet on the back of the refrigerator and extends into the freezer compartment and aligns with the fill cup of the ice maker. Read More...
