Hello Kim. Remove the agitator from the unit. Then you can remove the clothing from under the agitator. It lifts out of the unit.

Buell, The units drum will not rotate during the rinse cycle. The only time the drum moves is when the unit is in the spin cycle, otherwise it will only agitate.

Jack, To remove the agitator you will need to use a rope or something to get under the agitator with and using leverage pull straight up on the agitator. It locks into place on the agitator coupling so you do have to use force to get it off.

Rob, You will need to pull the agitator and check the agitator coupler to make sure that the screw is tight and there is not damage to it. If the coupler looks ok then the issue would most likely be a bad agitator.

Hello Lady. If you can stop the water from entering the machine by turning off the timer or unplugging the unit, you will need to look for a bad pressure hose or replace the pressure switch. If the only way to shut off the water is at the shut off for the water hoses, you will need to replace the water valve in the unit.

Kl for Model Number WWRE6260D1WW

My washer won't spin or agitate. It fills with water and goes through the cycle normally. It just doesn't spin or agitate. The lid assembly switch is fine (I replaced it about 2 years ago). I removed the front panel and the belt under the motor looks good. About 6 months ago I had to reset the motor. The machine has functioned normally since then. All of the sudden on Saturday I noticed that it wasn't spinning or agitating. What could this be? Thanks

KL, You will want to test the lid switch even though it was replaced 2 years ago as this is the most common reason for the unit to not spin and agitate. Check to see if you are getting 120 vac to the motor and if you are then the motor is faulty and would need to be replaced.

Hello Geoff. I would check the pressure hose and make sure it is not clogged by blowing through it. And if it is good, see if the pressure switch is bad and causing the unit not to spin. If there is power to the motor, and the motor does not run, then you will need to replace the motor on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

Hello David. You pull upward on the agitator to remove it from the unit. Some of these can be very tight in the units and you may need to use a rope under them and jerk upwards.
