Hello Rick. Remove the agitator from the unit. Then remove the bolt in the top of the coupling WH49X10042 and pull it off the shaft of the transmission.

Pris, The 4 flashes indicate that the mode shifter circuit has failed and you will want to check the coils on the mode shifter. To test the mode shifter you will uplug the orange and yellow wire from the motor, this is the C7 connector. Check the continuity between the two pins on the wires. At room temp the resistance value should be approximately 98 ohms, room temp 77 degrees. If the mode shifter WH38X10017 checks ok then you will need to replace the motor WH20X10066.
