Donald July 25, 2016 I have an LG Tromm front load washer. When I removed the drain pump it was full of dirty soot and water. Should there be any water in the pump behind the motors fins? When I shake the motor water comes out from behind the impeller.
1 Answer Donald, There should be a seal around the shaft of the impeller that should not have water coming from behind it. It would be recommended to replace the pump assembly if this is the case. Read More...

Sunny July 23, 2016 for Model Number LG WM2501HVA Hi, I have a LG WM2501HVA and I have been experiencing OE error for last few weeks. After researching possible causing and ensuring there is no blockage on filter etc, I replaced the drain pump motor with a part ordered from Amazon (4681EA2001T) but the error still persists. I have checked the hoses all are clear and yet the error will not go away.Could you please suggest what could be wrong and possible fix/part that I would need?
1 Answer Sunny, The OE error code indicates the washer isn't drained completely "OE error = Not fully drained within 10 minutes." With a new drain pump motor and all the drain hoses are checked and clear, your next check is the water level switch 6601ER1006G and air tube MEJ62305102. remove power to the washer, remove the top panel and disconnect the air tube from the switch. Blow hard into the end of the air tube. This should clear any debris or sediment that may have developed inside the air tube and restricted the air flow, causing the pressure switch to not reset to the empty position. Read More...
