Chase July 07, 2021 for Model Number LG DLEX3700V My house voltage is 208. Dryer says it needs 240. Will the dryer, or dryer element still work? Can we get a 208 heating element for this dryer to make it work? The part numbers I have are for the OEM elements, can't find the 208V heating element part number? I realize there are several questions here. Thank you.
1 Answer Chase, unfortunately, the manufacturer specifically calls for a minimum of 230VAC for this unit and do not provide information for a 208VAC element. Read More...
Noel B. April 30, 2021 for Model Number DLEX-7600WE The regular drying function of my LG steam dryer works properly. The steam function stopped recently and there is no error notice presented on the control panel. Water flow to the dryer is functioning ok and the filter at the hose connection looks clean. Has anybody had this problem and how did you make the fix? Could the problem be in a separate heater unit for the steam, if there is one? Thank you
1 Answer Hello Noel, This is most likely an issue with the generator assembly ADZ73410101. There is the possibility of a control issue EBR80198607 but the manufacturer always recommends replacing the generator first since it is the more likely cause. Read More...

Marie January 04, 2020 for Model Number DLE3777W my dryer does not heat I have replaced a thermistor and thermostat and it still isn't working.
1 Answer Marie, the terminal block where the power cord connects to the dryer will need to be tested for 240VAC while the unit is plugged in. If there is 240VAC, the power cord will need to be unplugged from the outlet, and the heating element 5301EL1001A, hi-limit thermostat 6931EL3003D, and safety thermostat 6931EL3001E will need to be tested. With the red wire unplugged from the element, the thermostats should measure as having continuity. The element would be tested from the red wire terminal to the yellow wire terminal for 10O of resistance, then from red to blue for 10O of resistance. Replace any failed parts as necessary. If the parts test good, then the unit will need to be put back together with the exception of the red wire on the element (ensure that the wire is secure and does not touch any metal), and the front panel will need to be plugged in but angled so that there is access to the element. The unit would then be plugged in and ran through a normal cycle while the element is tested for voltage. If there is 120VAC getting to the yellow wire (when tested to ground) and the blue wire (when tested to ground, but not the red wire, then the motor 4681EL1008A has failed. If there is 120VAC at the red wire but not the yellow or blue wires, then the main control 6871EC1121E has failed. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has discontinued the main control and it is no longer available. Read More...
