Dave, Double check the venting from the blower wheel to the outside of the home to ensure that it is good and clean. If the venting is clear and the thermistor is new then check wiring between thermistor and control board. If this is ok then the issue will most likely be in the control board.

Jay Seward for Model Number DLE7177WM

When the LG DLE7177WM is turned on, settings set, and start button is pushed, the drum moves 1-2 inches then stops (runs for a second or two). I hear a click when it stops but my hearing is so poor I can't geolocate it. It will repeat the behavior if shut off and restarted. This happens on any selected drying routine setting. I've used my multimeter on the thermostats, etc. and all cause the reading to go from 1 to 0. Best guess about the cause? Thanks.

Jay, Since you have a multi meter, disconnect the BL2 (brown and yellow wires) wire connector from the main control board. check for 3 ohms resistance across the brown and yellow wires in the harness connector. If you have the correct resistance, replace the control board. If not check the wiring for loose connections and replace the motor.
