Virgil February 06, 2012 for Model Number WM2487H*M Washer won't drain. Cleaned filter and entire drain hose. Now what?
1 Answer Hello Virgil. Test for power to the drain pump. If there is power, and the pump does not run, you will need to replace the drain pump assembly 4681EA2001T. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Frances N. December 19, 2011 for Model Number WM1812CW If you open the cover cap in the front left part of the machine and pull out the hose, is this AP4439609 the right replacement part number. And if it is how can I get in the machine to replace it. The hose has a hole and it needs to be replaced.
1 Answer Hello Frances. Yes, based on the model number, 5214FR4006G is the correct hose connector. You can remove the screw in the bottom of the cover and use a pair of long needle nose pliers to install the hose, or you will need to pull the unit out and remove the back access panel to install the hose on the pump.
