Mike G July 17, 2022 for Model Number WT7500CW Hi, my pulsator which is relatively new, has developed some burrs/sharp edges which is affecting and grabbing my clothes. Can I gently sand the edges with something. Low grit sand paper or something. My wife may have left my Sons baseball pants with the belts and it scratches the pulsator. Please advise. Thanks Mike
1 Answer Mike, You could try to gently sand down the burrs on the pulsator and if this does not correct the issue then replace the pulsator. Read More...
Kathy March 04, 2022 for Model Number LG WT1101CW when I put the new assembly in, the bolt will not tighten at all. HELP!
1 Answer Hello Kathy, either the pulsator mounting bolt AEN73131403 is stripped, or the matching threads in the top shaft of the clutch assy AEN73131403 is damaged. Read More...
Jeff March 01, 2022 for Model Number WT5001CW My pulsator plate comes off. Figured I needed a new one and ordered it due to the teeth seeming to be a bit worn. What I need to know is.....is the shaft on the clutch assembly threaded on the inside to receive the screw from the pulsator? Mine is smooth and rather shallow and no where near able to attach to the pulsator screw.
1 Answer Jeff, If the threading of the shaft is gone then the clutch assembly would need to be replaced. If the screw is just not staying and keeps backing out then just add some blue Loctite to the threads to get it to stay. Read More...
Jb February 17, 2022 for Model Number WT7600HKA Hi ! Thanks for all the great information you provide! I have an LG WT7600HKA. My wash plate came off entirely and the bolt is still firmly intact through the center of the wash plate. It does not look like the bolt broke or sheared, it just looks like it pulled out of the center of the bottom of the washer. I'm not sure exactly what parts I need to fix this situation. Thank you for your help!
1 Answer JB, the bolt FAB30598601, and the gearcase AEN73131406 would need to be inspected to identify if the threads have been stripped out. If one of them has, the part would need to be replaced. Read More...
Kelly February 05, 2022 for Model Number LG Washer Model WT1501CW Like many others my washer place has come off. I have the new washer plate, however the threads that should be there to screw into are warn down really bad, and my new assembly won't grip at all when I try and screw it in. There is not hole etc for me to even screw into anymore. I assume I need to replace this piece, but can't seem to narrow down exactly what part is needed? Do I need to replace the clutch assembly?
1 Answer Kelly, Thanks for the question!!! Yes, you will need the clutch assembly AEN73131403. Read More...
Kevin January 05, 2022 for Model Number WT5270CW Is it possible to remove the plastic on the bottom to clean in between? The washer had been sitting for awhile and there appears to be some buildup between the plastic and the metal.
1 Answer Kevin, unfortunately, the pulsator is not designed to be disassembled. As this is the case, running the washer through a cleaning cycle with Affresh W10549845 can help to break down and clean the build-up. Read More...

Ernie November 24, 2021 for Model Number lg WT1101CW is the bolt that turns the agitator with the splines supposed to turn by hand or is it tight

Ed September 17, 2021 for Model Number WT5001CW Why can I not get the wash plate to come out? I have taken out the screw and followed instructions on the video and the washplate will not lift out!
1 Answer Ed, Thanks for the question!!! If the plate stripped in any way it could bond to the shaft. I would try slipping a belt underneath the plate and give a good pull. If that does not work you may need to use the chisel method shown in the video. Read More...
