Beverly, there are several areas to check, the tub bearing could be worn and allowing the basket to wobble, open the door, hold the outer tub with one hand and grab the inner basket with your other hand, there should not be any play or movement of the basket to the outer tub.Check the rotor and stator, there should be free movement when turning that motor.

Byron, In most cases, if the motor won't run or runs erratically, it is due to a failed or malfunctioning RSP switch or damaged windings in the stator. In your case, if the " plastic grove piece" in the center of the rotor assembly is damaged, this would be due to a tub bearing or sinner support arm that have worn out and allowing the tub and spinner to rotate out of balance and is wearing out, damaging the center housing/bearing in the rotor.

Hello Brandon. The plastic is fine on them and if it gets worn down, something has restricted the rotor from turning. There is not one that will work for your model with a metal center. They are plastic to prevent electrical transfer.
