Ken December 15, 2016 for Model Number LFD23860ST I have a LG LFD23860ST fridge. my old starter relay, capacitor and OLP were replaced with 6749C-0014E PTC and 6750C-0005P OLP according to my local appliance repair source who suggested these parts. I only have a blue and black wire connecting to the original starter. My fridge has a embraco EGX70HLC compressor which calls for a running capacitor (RSCR type). Does this PTC supercedes the need to have a capacitor? And do I connect the blue wire to terminal 2 or 3? Thanks!
1 Answer Ken, The capacitor is not required on this part and the blue wire will connect to the number 3 terminal on the relay. Read More...
Ken December 13, 2016 for Model Number LFD23860ST I`m replacing an original PTC/capacitor/relay assembly on my LG model LFD23860ST fridge, which they don`t manufacture any longer. The parts you are selling as replacement 6749C-0014E (thermistor asm, PTC) and 6750C-0005P (overload) connect to the compressor. Now I have only two wires, one black one blue. The black connect to the overload, now I have one (blue) wire and two prongs on the thermistor, but no pink wire. How do I proceed? Do I connect the blue wire to the terminal that's marked '3' as well and leave terminal '2' unconnected?
1 Answer Ken, The blue wire will go to the number 3 terminal on the relay and that should complete the repair once it is put onto the compressor plug it in and see if the compressor turns on. Read More...
Sjc December 01, 2016 for Model Number LFX25960ST The original relay in my 2008 LG LFX25960ST has three prongs. This replacement part, listed as a compatible one, has only two. Can you pls specify how to connect the new one? Which wire is not needed? Also, if this is a new design, is there any dependency on the overload protector component?
1 Answer Hello SJC. You will need to order the overload with the relay to use all 3 wires. Read More...
Lee November 09, 2016 for Model Number lfx25961al I have the new relay 6749c-0014e, overload protector 6750ja3001b and a capacitor 0czzjb2014g. as my original parts are no longer available. I understand from reading the other questions that the new relay is smaller than the original and that I use the overload protector for the connection of the black wire and the blue wire connects to the terminal numbered 3. But how does the capacitor plug into or attach to the relay and the overload protector? OR do i not need the capacitor? Thanks in advance,
1 Answer Lee, The capacitor would not be required when using the new overload and relay assembly. Read More...

Greg February 22, 2016 for Model Number LFX21960ST The relay on my compressor has three connections. Two wires blue and red come from a capacitor and are on the left side of the relay (as mounted on the compressor). The other connection on the right is a pink wire. The overload is a seperate unit and has its own connection. The part you sell has only two connections for the relay. Wont this eliminate the capacitor? How do you make connections to the two prong unit? Thanks.
1 Answer Greg, Here is a relay that should work for your unit that has 3 terminals to it. The part number is EBG62325702. Read More...
