Hello Dana. First check and make sure the water filter 5231JA2006F is good on the unit. If so, then you will need to check and see if the water tank is frozen. If not, you will need to replace the water valve 5221JA2006D. Hope this helps.

Hello Raj. If you look at the picture on the parts page 5221JA2006D, the insert is the grey and the white plastic pieces on top of the blue water valve. You will press in on these and pull the lines out at the same time. Hope this helps.

Hello Ed. According to the wiring diagram, the red wire goes to the left terminal and the blue goes to the right. On some models, the wire colors are pink on the left and blue on the right. Hope this helps.

Bill, Yes, the water tubes need to be trimmed behind the original compression fitting. They also have to have a straight cut, and be free of any burrs on the inside and outside of the insertion end of the tube. Something else that seems to work well, press down on the compression ring in the center of the new connector, insert and press in on the tube as far as possible, release the ring, and tug lightly out on the tube. That seems to be pretty efficient as far as loose leaking connections on "John Guess" fittings. Good Luck.

Hello LG Owner. If the compression fittings are bad on the water valve, you will need to replace the water valve 5221JA2006D. They do not sell just the compression fittings. Hope this helps.

Hello Dana. To remove the water tube from the valve. You will want to press in the insert and pull the water tube out. To install you will only have to slide in the water tube into the opening. Thanks!
