Barb, there will most likely be an air leak in the seam where the ice maker section wall meets the refrigerator wall. This can be verified by removing the ice bin and shining a flashlight onto the seam from the refrigerator side and if there is an air leak the light will show through into the ice maker section. To repair this, the ice maker and auger assembly will need to be removed. Once they are removed, the ice will need to carefully be cleared out (there is an evaporator in this section and it is easily pierced by sharp objects). The ice can be cleared with a putty knife, or by using a spray bottle with hot water (water will be sprayed onto the ice so a hand towel will under the ice will help with limiting the water mess). Once the ice is clear, the bin will need to be dry and have the sealant DA81-05595A placed around the seam inside and out. Once this is done, the auger assembly would be re-installed, then the clip assembly DA82-02367A will need to be installed onto the ice maker evaporator before the ice maker is re-installed.

Tom, There is a water pipe heater for this tube. You will want to make sure that there is proper voltage going to the ice water pipe heater. You would need to test the main control board connector CN51 Pin 2 (brown wire) to Connector CN79 Pin 9 (Orange Wire). There should be 12 VDC at this location and if there is no proper power then the issue will be the main control board and if there is proper power then the heater would need to be replaced. The only way to replace the heater will be to replace the door of the unit.

Ute, on the bottom front of the bin is the locking tab that secures the tray to the ice container. To release the tray, you would need to lift the front end up and then pull the tray out.
