Gary F August 16, 2017 for Model Number DMT800RHS/XAA I got the 5E or SE error - drain problem. I took off the drain hose at the pump and found a black rubber valve stuck in the beginning of the small section of the hose. I thought it was the Check Vane/Valve, but that is still in tact. The rubber piece I found seems to be the same size as the round black valve on the Check Vane, but it does not have the "T" on it. I has an elongated loop on one end and has "48" embossed on it. My part store could not identify it, nor could your support person I spoke to. At the suggestion of the part store, I put it back together and tried it. It started running then, I guess when it got to the drain cycle, I got the 5E error again. I need to know where that 48 rubber flap came from, if it is necessary, or do I need a new drain pump. 1 Answer Gary, If the check valve is still intact then this black rubber piece would most likely be something that is not necessary and should not be there.
