Bryan for Model Number WF220ANW/XAA 01

I have a Samsung front load washer model #WF220ANW/XAA. Few weeks ago, at the start of every spin cycle (low, medium, or high) the entire unit shakes hard, wobbles and walks on the floor for about 5-10 seconds until it rebalances and stabilizes itself and then continues to rotate normal to the end of the spin cycle. Based on many google searches I have made, I ordered from Appliance Parts Pros a Spider Arm Assembly DC97-15877B, six new Spider Bolts DC60-40137A and Center Tub Seal DC62-00223A, which all arrived quickly. I followed your excellent videos, disassembled my washer without any glitch. The original Spider Arm was in a reasonable shape, with minor corrosion mostly around the center shaft. The two bearings looked in pristine condition. As recommended, I replaced the Spider Arm, Center Tub Seal in addition to two new industrial grade sealed bearings. Finished to reassemble the washer back and went to test it. The washer still keeps going out of balance for several second before stabilizes itself as described above. The washer sits completely balance and level on a concrete floor since we bought it, the two front Weight Balancer, Damper Shocks and Assembly Legs all looks in perfect condition. I noticed now that when I rotate by hand the Assembly Drum inside the washer a very loud noise. It sound like metal balls that first stuck at one place and then hitting each other while falling down inside the ring. I recorded this noise (about 10 seconds long) and would like to share it with you by text, email or a phone call. Please let me know which communication method you prefer. I never heard in my entire life such a loud metal noise inside any front loader washer when rotating the drum by hand to collect leftover clothes stuck inside the washer drum. What still left to replace in my washer to fix this imbalance problem? Balancer ring as suggested in other questions thread, how can I find out, which one (front or rear ring) causes this out of balance problem? Please help me to identify what part I need to order from you. Thanks,

Brian, This would most likely be the balance ring and there is only one on the front of the unit. The balance ring does have ball bearings in it and a liquid. Sounds like the liquid may be gone and just the bearings are flopping around.

Meadowdad, it is recommended that the spider arm assembly is inspected before replacing it. If the inner spin basket wiggles around inside of the outer tub, then it is likely that the spider arm assembly DC97-15877E or the rear tub bearings DC97-15931A are failing. It would be at this juncture where disassembling the unit to inspect the spider shaft would be necessary. However, if the spin basket does not wiggle around in the outer tub, then the washer level would need to be verified, the counterbalance weights DC67-00622B will need to be inspected to ensure they are intact. The spider shaft recommended by the manufacturer would be the only one we can recommend using. In regards to date of availability, the spider shaft usually ships within 5-6 business days as long as there is availability at the manufacturer. For the most accurate expected shipping date, please call us at 1-877-477-7278.

Anthony, Yes there is an AppliancePartsPros.com repair video for the Samsung Front Load Washer. Enter this address [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTXoKMHHpLs ] into your browser and it should load the video in a matter of moments. It's a long video (45 mins.) but pretty much covers everything you're going to need and all the instructions required to replace a worn out spider assembly. Thanks,
