Aharon May 23, 2021 for Model Number NX58R4311SS/AA I have a Sasung stove with model number NX58R4311SS/AA. What would be the right part number of the igniter. The oven takes way to long to heat up and sometimes doesn't even get to set temp. Thanks
David March 24, 2021 for Model Number NX58H5650WS/AC Hello, my problem with my oven is sometimes works fine then suddenly doesn't work at all, we turn the oven it show150 degrees but nothing happens, bake relay close send 120vac to the igniter but doesn't glow but some times glow and light the main burner ,my question is what will be the best way to test the igniter resistance when is cold, hot or when glows because I know their have to create some sort of voltage to open the safety valve coil, thanks in advance for you answer.
1 Answer Hello David, if the ignitor is getting 120v from the control board and does not glow, check the wiring connections to the ignitor if ok replace the ignitor DG94-00520A, ohms test will be anywhere between 40-400 ohms. Read More...
Haim January 16, 2021 for Model Number NX58M6630SS/AA-00 the igniter that is currently installed is two separate (blue) wires, and the one you are selling is made up of two attached wires together. however i do see that there is a place to plug in such a plug. would that work okay?
1 Answer Haim, if the ignitor DG94-00520A has been replaced before, it would be recommended that the wire harness is inspected to see if the connector mentioned has been cut free from the harness. If it has, then the current ignitor was spliced in and a ceramic wire nut would need to be used to connect the plug back to the wire so that the ignitor can be properly connected. Read More...
Antonio January 04, 2021 for Model Number NX58M6630SS/AA-00 I hope to order this product (DG94-00520A) but have a question on installation. I need to use ceramic wire nuts to connect the igniter to the wire harness. There are two wires. How do I know which of the two wires from the igniter to connect to the two wires coming from the wire harness? The two wires from the igniter are white and the two wires from the wire harness are also white. Thank you!
David December 08, 2020 for Model Number NX58M6650WS/AA The oven ignitor has a tag on one lead: Model501A 1820M. What is the correct replacement part?
Robert September 07, 2020 for Model Number Samsung NX58J7750SS Is this the correct igniter for the bake feature of the oven? Broiler works fine, bake burner does not light.
Erin July 08, 2020 for Model Number NX58H5600SS/AA At times the oven on our Samsung stove will not light. I have checked the resistance of the igniter at room temperature and it was 158 ohms. According to what youve told others this means that the igniter is good. What do you recommend that i check next?
1 Answer Erin, if during these times the igniter is glowing, the voltage going to the safety valve can be tested. If it is not receiving 3.2 to 3.6VAC within 60 seconds of bake being turned on, the ignitor is weak and would need to be replaced. Read More...
Steve April 27, 2020 for Model Number NX58H5650WS/AA-0000 Some times when you turn the oven on bake when it lights it explodes ....does not do it all the time
1 Answer Steve, You will want to test the oven safety valve for 3.2 to 3.6 Vac and if there is proper voltage then this will be an oven safety valve issue and if there is not proper power then the igniter is weak and would need to replace the igniter. Read More...
Randy March 31, 2020 for Model Number NX58H9500WS/AA I purchased a non OEM Samsung igniter last year. Now the oven is making several popping sounds during the preheat cycle. The oven, however, operates as normal. Could this be an issue with an defective igniter? Many thanks!
1 Answer Randy, It would be recommended to check and see if the oven safety valve is getting 3.2 to 3.6 VAC to it and if it is then the safety valve would be the most likely cause for this issue. Read More...
Charlie January 04, 2020 for Model Number samsung nx58k7850ss I just bought a replacement HOT SURFACE IGNITER ASSEMBLY Part Number: DG94-00520A Made by: Samsung from you guys. the replacement part came with a single connector (2 wires in 1 connector, whereas the original part has 2 wires with a connector on each wire. The connectors are not compatible, Thus it will not connect with my oven. Both igniters have a tag that says Model 501A. But the original has a tag that says Model 501A 1622, the replacement tag says Model 501A 1920M. Do you have any suggestions on how I can get the correct part with the correct connections? Thanks, Charlie
1 Answer Charlie, the manufacturer is specifically listing the igniter DG94-00520A for your model and as such, it is likely that there was a revision change to the part. As the manufacturer does recommend this igniter, the igniter can be installed by using ceramic wire nuts TJMA01166-1 to connect the igniter to the wire harness. Read More...
