Jim, It would be recommended to use the magnetron that is called for on your unit because the wattage may be different between the 2 magnetrons. The part number for the magnetron on your unit would be WB27X10735.

Milano, With the issue that you are having, this would most likely be caused by a faulty capacitor or a bad magnetron. You will want to test both of these to make sure that they are good.

Hello Paul, if you look closely, the old magnetron has a thermal fuse mounted to it with two tiny screws. This has to be removed and installed on the new magnetron. All wires have to be connected in a microwave to prevent a fire/electrical shock hazard.
