Kim January 23, 2019 for Model Number RF4287HARS/XAA-01 I have a Samsung refrigerator model RF4287HARS/XAA-01. Compressor gets warm but fridge and freezer don't get cold enough. When I first plug it in the red light on the power control board comes on but goes out after about an hour. Also has a 23 e code and fan is not running. Does it sound like it needs a new pcb and a condensor fan motor? If so, can I get the correct part number for both. Thanks.
1 Answer Kim, it could certainly be one or the other as this error is specific for the condenser fan motor. If the control does not send between 7-12v DC to the motor it would be the control. If it does send the voltage to the fan but the fan won't run, then the fan is the issue. The part numbers are DA92-00233D for the main control and DA31-00146B for the condenser fan motor. Troy December 03, 2018 for Model Number Rf4287hars Same problem. My board has red 4 prong in middle and new board you sent does not. There is no other open red 4 prong on new board.

Kirit September 05, 2018 I have RF4287HARH freezer and ice maker are not working. fridge is working fine. When I pressed energy saver and light, I got no error code I just got a black screen and then went back to normal screen after 60-90 seconds. How can I tell if its the board or some other thing.

Rakesh August 29, 2018 I have a Samsung French Door refrigerator (RF31fmesbsr/aa ). It suddenly stopped working and I see the inside LED lights blinking when powered on. I replaced both the PCB Main and Inverter control boards. But when I power it on, with in 5 minutes, one of the 4 big diodes on the top (the right most one) of PCB Main burns. I tried another new PCB main and the same diode burnt. I also see 23 E error code which means condenser fan error. Does a bad condenser fan burn the PCB main baord ?

Don M August 13, 2018 for Model Number Samsung RF4287HARS/XAA S/N : 102043CZCO 1342 N Samsung Refrigerator RF4287HARS/XAA S/N : 102043CZCO 1342 is not freezing or cooling at all. The compressor seems to be working. On the front display i set it on any temp (-8 ) and when it reverts back to where it’s supposed to show the correct temp of freezer, it says the freezer temp is -25. The fridge temp seems to be working right on the display. Im finding it hard to find the correct parts. What is the correct part for main board? Thanks
Ray J August 05, 2018 for Model Number RF4287HARS/XAA Symptom: 6 year old refrigerator that is not freezing correctly and not making consistent ice cubes. Rear did not have any dust on fan or cooling tubes. Service guy says "everything is burnt, the compressor is no good, the relay and fan is bad...just buy a new unit". I am electronics savvy and don't trust him since the boards all look fine and too much is working properly. He said parts are discontinued which is not true. I checked the fuses, reset all board connectors, checked behind the freezer drawer, and did a hard reset of power. Top cools normally but freezer still acting up. Question: Can you forward me a troubleshooting manual or test point flow chart. (I have a good Fluke digital meter) Thanks Ray J

The part number on the board is DA41-00683A, however, I can't find this part. My model # ends simply with XAA and does not have a 0000 or 0001 ending as your models show. I ordered the DA41-00684A part, which your website and my service manual say is the replacement, but when you look at a side by side comparison they don't match. The new part has much more circuitry on the board and has one less red 4-pin connector (REG1). Could this be an updated circuit board that requires you to also install a new wiring harness? Thank you for your help.

Ersin May 04, 2018 for Model Number RF4287HARS/XAA-0000 Fridge and freezer do not maintain acceptable temperatures ( freezer goes up to 25F+, fridge up to 56F+). The compressor starts then shuts off within five seconds. The flex zone drawer flashes when compressor is activating and when the compressor is running in forced mode. The Self Diagnosis does not create any Fault Codes. It cools quickly in Forced (freeze) Mode and can get the temp down to -8F. Sometimes unplugging and plugging back in helps maintain sub 10F temps in freezer. Could you tell if Da41-00684a Samsung PCB Main Model might help remedy these problems?
