Curtis J. November 24, 2015 for Model Number WA456DRHDWRA/AA01 The water fill valves don't shut off. The sensor is sending out hertz signal and reducing as water fills. Signal is at sub Board at CN8 and reduces in Hz. In Quick Test the display show reading of 260 and reduces as water fills. I have noticed on diagrams at CN 12 sub PC terminal #2 is marked water level, but there is no reference in fast track or tech sheet of this being a test point. This appears to me to be a Communication port from Sub board to main board. I got a dc volt of 2.3.(cn12 #2) sub. I did a water fill and the volts did not change. I am trying to find out if this is a test point. I can't get Samsungs' help. I have either a sub board not outputting control signal to main or main with a failure to shut off valve not receiving signal or open circuit. Which board is the most likely problem? I'm leaning toward the main because I have a good display but want to verify or find out about the #2 wire marked water level. Is that a test point?

Ronl October 23, 2015 for Model Number Samsung WA456DRHDWR/AA Hello, Our Samsung WA456DRHDWR/AA washer will not turn on. Power at outlet washer is plugged into is OK. I think the washer may have taken a power surge during thunderstorm activity this summer. I haven't taken the washer apart yet to see what I can see, but I'm thinking it's probably the main PCB, PN AP5621831. Please advise. RonL
1 Answer Hello RonL. Test for power to the main board. If it is there and the unit does not come on, You will need to replace the main board on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Keith B June 30, 2015 for Model Number WA456DRHDWR/AA-0000 Error code E1. repair guy tried replacing water level pressure switch. got same error. He called Samsung that told him it must be main board and they only sell board and display board as one unit. making it nearly $500. Can assy pcb main work? Thanks Keith Brown
Matthew M March 11, 2015 for Model Number WA456DRHDWR/AA-0000 My drain pump broke and flooded my laundry room, so I had it replaced with the new Samsung part DC98-01877A that relocates the pump from the tub to the base of the washer. However, now after installation the pump runs continuously and won't shut off. Could you give me an idea of what the issue may be (i.e., does it need a new control board?). Thanks.
1 Answer Matthew, You will want to double check all of your connections of the pump to make sure that they are good firm connections and that there are no broken wires. If this all checks ok then it sounds like the main control board would be faulty and need to be replaced. Read More...
