Stephan December 23, 2021 for Model Number WF42H5200AP/A2-01 Washing machine fills and drains fine but doesn't spin. I get code 3E2 in diagnostic mode and when I run a spin test all i hear is a clicking noise, I'm leaning Inverter control board but not sure if there is more testing I should do before ordrering? Thanks muchly!
1 Answer Stephan, You will want to test the hall sensor for resistance between pin 1 and 4 and 1and 3 and it should be 2 to 4 Mohms. Then you will want to check to see if the motor has resistance between any 2 of the 3 pins on the motor winding for 6 ohms of resistance. If both check ok then this will be a faulty main control board. Read More...
Timothy November 05, 2021 for Model Number WF42H5200AW/A2-0000 washer was working erratic, replaced PCB DC92 01621D worked some what better for 2 weeks. now its back at it. last night when it stopped 3 times in different cycles then when it got to the end of the final spin it would go back to 10 minutes and re-rinse and spin again, over and over. I went into diagnostic mode this morning it gave me my 1st error code. 7E 21 (the E is missing the top line?)
1 Answer Hello Timothy, that code is not listed for your model, however, based on the symptom, the washer thinks there is still water left in the tub that it cannot drain out completely and is going into a SUDS DETECT mode, trying to knock down the suds. Suggest you access the airline hose that goes down from the water level switch to the tub and check for any debris/sediment/deposits clogging the tube. Read More...
Dave June 02, 2021 for Model Number WF42H5200AW/A2 Hello, MY Samsung washer keeps overfilling and I keep getting a 4E error when it over fills. I've swapped out both water inlet valves, and the pressure control switch. I'm still getting the problem with the 4E error. What would be the next course of action? Mainboard? If it is, is it the DC-01621D which is the number printed on the housing? Or has this number been superceded
1 Answer Dave, it would be recommended that the pressure hose is inspected for any clogs that may be preventing the pressure sensor from reading the fill level properly. If there is not a clog or kink in the hose, the failure would likely be in the main control DC92-01621D. Read More...
James July 16, 2020 for Model Number WF42H5200AF/A2 My washer will not fill up with water, I know the inlet solenoids are working because I unhooked the wires and run power to them to make them open and let water through. There are no codes flashing, the machine goes through all the cycles like normal with no water. Is this the assy pcb main board?
1 Answer James, more than likely this would be a main control DC92-01621D failure as there are not any error codes. Read More...
James May 06, 2020 for Model Number WF42H5200AP/A2-0000 Front Load Samsung washer - Won't move past the load sense, no error codes come up but it won't compete a cycle. Samsung tech came out to look but washer was out of warranty. The tech said I needed the main PCB and the Inverter board? Asking to see if this is common to need to replace both parts? I feel like Samsung was just trying to get more money from me, based on threads and comments online. Can you recommend which part is the main PCB for this model number as well?
1 Answer Hello James, the main control board is part DC92-01621D and the motor inverter board is part DC92-01531B. Since you had a Samsung tech to diagnose the problem we would rely on his opinion for the repair. Both boards do work together, the problem is there no fault codes showing that would point to where the problem would be. Read More...
Chadwick L December 07, 2019 for Model Number WF42H5200AW/A2 I am getting the 4E code on the final rinse cycle. I have replaced both water inlet valves, and water level pressure sensor. I am still getting this error or the machine is not even starting the cycle. When I put into Diagnostics mode the machine fills spins and drains fine. Is the possible a PCB thing? is there a way to reset the cycles or something or is this just a main board replacement.
1 Answer Chad, For this issue, the main control board would be the issue with this unit getting the 4E error code. Read More...
Cheree August 22, 2019 for Model Number WF42H5200AP/A2 I have a Samsung washing machine (not dishwasher) - model number WF42H5200AP/A2. I pulled the control board and it has the number DC26-00052A, but everything I have searched says that I should use the DC92-01621D. Which one do I need?
1 Answer Cheree, the main control board that will be needed will depend on the REV number on the model tag. If the REV number is 0 or there is not a REV number, then the main control will be part number DC92-01621D. If the REV number is 1 then the part number needed is DC92-01803C. Read More...
Brent August 14, 2019 for Model Number WF42H5000AW/A2-0000 The dishwasher will not turn on. Any parts you suggest for this? Probably from power surge from recent lightning strike.
1 Answer Brent, You sent me a model number for a washing machine but mention the dishwasher won't start. I just want to make sure we are on the same page as far as troubleshooting. If it is the washer and you have just been thru a lightning storm I would check my outlet for proper voltage or plug in a lamp to see if the breaker has tripped. You have a noise filter where the power cord comes into the unit. Make sure that is not damaged with a continuity test thru that filter board. After the power goes thru the filter board it enters the main power control board where you probably have an internal switch that has failed if all else checks good. DC92-01621E Read More...
Jerry February 23, 2019 for Model Number WF42H5200AP/A2-0000 My washer wont drain, so I replaced the Drain pump. Well that didn't work. The pump doesn't seem to get the signal to power on. So it must be a control panel. Which panel controls the drain/spin cycle. There are 2 control panels to choose from.
1 Answer Jerry, For this issue the control board that would be needed is a main control board DC92-01621D. Read More...
Odalis February 22, 2019 I have a Samsung washing machine WF42H5000AW/A2. The problem is that it does not turn on. First, it starts blinking and nothing works, then it does not turn on. Please give me an explanation and possible solutions. Thank you
1 Answer Hello Odalis, You should pull the tech sheet and run the diagnostics to see if there is a fault code. This will point you in the direction of the issue whether it is a door lock assembly or a motor causing the code. Read More...
