How do you know if the balance assembly needs to be replaced? I took everything apart, replaced the spider and the bearings, put it all back together and it spins level in the tub but makes noises. Reading on your site I discovered this is normal for this model but it still sounds different from new ones in the stores and I just wanted to be sure it was ok before I go to the trouble of putting it all back together in the washer cabinet. Thank you>

Mark, There is a liquid in the balance ring and if it is not dripping out then it is ok and it would be normal.
