Michele, the drain clip should work. However, it is common for the drain tube DA97-04049D to clog up and cause this issue. Replacing the tubes in the compressor section and clearing the defrost drain can help resolve the water building up.

Rene, The drain clip is part number DA61-14306A but you will also want to pull the unit out and clean the drain that tube that is behind the refrigerator in the machine compartment.

Rene, Yes, this drain clip will work for your unit but also you will want to access the drain in the back of the unit behind the access panel and there is a rubber piece called a duckbill, you will want to cut the duck bill part off the rubber because the drain will continue to freezer otherwise.

Carley, The drain clip that would be for your unit will be part number DA61-14306A. It would also be recommended to pull the unit out and remove the rear cover. There will be 2 drain tubes that you will want to remove and clean out. Inside the tube will be what is known as a duck bill that you will want to remove. Once removed you will clip the end off so that it has an opening that you can see through. This will help with keeping the drain from freezing as well.

David, The drain tube clip for this model will be part number DA61-14306A. It would also be recommended to pull the unit out and remove the drain tubes in the back of the unit to clean out the tubes and the duck bill inside of the drain tube.
