Jeanie November 15, 2020 for Model Number FTQ3531WUX Samsung range My front right burner will stay on high no matter where I turn the knob when I try to cook. It just stays continuously on highest heat. I think I need the energy regulator replaced and I need to know for sure which part to order. My range is 9 years old and this burner is a dual burner. Thank you.
Noe August 13, 2020 for Model Number NE59M4320SS/AA-00 My front left burner, is a two burner. A small center and an outer large one. My inside will stay on high all the time. I bought the regulator switch, but it is not the same as the original. All pictures in the website only show the front view of switch. My original switch has 7 connectors, the new has only five. Could you please show the back of switch so customers can see if we are purchasing the correct one? Your parts do not have a part number to go by either. I input my range model number and serial number, but the same part, kept coming up. Can you please send me a picture or the correct part number for the switch I need? My original switch, has 7 connectors and is for the front left burner. Range mod. NE59M4320SSAA

Tammy April 21, 2020 for Model Number FTQ352IWB Good day, I have part DG44-01002A to change the left dual burner switch on my Samsung range. The new switch has 7 connectors compared to the original switch which has 8 connectors. How would this be installed, leave out the wire that would’ve been connected to the 8th connector? I did change the right element switch with no issues as it had 7 wires. Thanks for your help.
1 Answer Hello Tammy, please repost your question with the complete model number, there is more than one left burner switch listed for this model line. We need the full model number to locate the correct part. Read More...
Enrique August 26, 2019 for Model Number NE59J7630SB/AA 1) My hot surface light is always on. 2) My self-cleaning mode is not working for the oven. When I press the self -clean button, I get the Hot LED display with a 3 ring chime noise. Thanks
1 Answer Enrique, The issue with the hot surface indicator will be caused by one of the surface element switches. You would want to test each switch in the off position from the P Terminal to chassis ground and if there is 120 VAC on any of them then that is the switch that is faulty. For the oven, this sounds like it would be an oven control board issue. Read More...
Serge July 24, 2019 Hi. Samsung Electric Range Model # NE58M9430SS. The hot surface light indicator is constantly on for my right rear small burner. What P/N should I replace. Thanks
1 Answer Serge, the contacts for the hot surface light located in the element DG47-00060A are going to be the cause for this issue. To correct this issue, the entire element would need to be replaced. Read More...

Blaine January 30, 2019 for Model Number FTQ353IWUB/XAA-0000 All four of my burners go all the way to high regardless of where I have my knob setting. How do I know if this is the infinite switch or the power regulator?
1 Answer Blaine, for all 4 burners to heat only at high, either the switches are not disengaging properly for each burner, or there is 120v that is bypassing the regulators on the switches. A way you can test if there is voltage being applied when it shouldn't be is testing while the switches are in the off position. The only wires that should have 120v at the switches are the L1 and L2. If any other wires have voltage to them while the switches are turned off, this means that there is a bridged connection somewhere that shouldn't be. This will allow you to isolate which component may be causing this issue. Read More...
Stephanie January 17, 2018 for Model Number FTQ386LWUX Hello the left rear small one ring burner on my stove is not on, however the burner light is staying on. Do I just replace the large switch in the back or both the larger and smaller switches? Can you provide a part number?
Jay November 27, 2017 for Model Number samsung FTQ3521WUX On my front right burner, only the outside rings of the element heat up. The inside elements do not heat regardless of the setting. Is this a problem with the element or the regulator?
1 Answer Hello Jay. You will need to test for power to the element. If there is power there, then replace the element. If there is no power, replace the switch. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
