Terry B December 21, 2016 for Model Number FE710DRS/XAA-0001 We had a short in back wiring harness and replaced it - Oven works fine now - But as we turned on the oven for the first time with new harness we heard a clicking sound and then noticed the front left burner was not working. - Is there a relay that the new harness affected?
1 Answer Terry, You will want to check the connections to the infinite switch on the front left burner. There is no relay and the infinite switch would more than likely be what is causing this issue to occur. Read More...
Vareez October 29, 2016 for Model Number FTQ352IWUX Hi. I have a Samsung Electric Stove/Cooker, Model Number FTQ352IWUX. The 2 big burners on the glasstop (the two front plates) are overheating. Even on LOW, it gets really hot. What could be the problem and which parts should I inspect for possible replacement? Thanks.
1 Answer Vareez, This issue would be a infinite switch issue and would need to replace the energy regulator for the elements. Read More...
Steven G. September 10, 2016 for Model Number Samsung FE-R500WW The dual burners would stay on maximum heat regardless of the knob setting. I replaced the switches and everything works fine now (thanks for the help). There is a small Allen key in the back of the switch. What does that do? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Steven, This is for the factory calibration and should not be tampered with to prevent causing a hazard. Read More...

Billy June 17, 2015 for Model Number FTQ387LWGX/XAA What causes the 240 circuit Breaker to Blow ? Turned on Back right and blew breaker right away. Turned on Back Left and saw sparks in back of stove, near bottom. Thought I saw a red glow too, near the wires. Model is only 3 years old and house is 10 years old. Seems to be the Electric Range as the problem. Anything common with this model that blows circuit breakers ?
1 Answer Hello Billy. You will need to check all the wiring on the unit. Something is shorted out to the frame and is blowing the breaker. I would start checking where you seen the sparks come out from. Look for a pinched or burnt wire on the unit. Read More...
Mike January 27, 2015 for Model Number FTQ353IWUX/XAA-0000 Oven is 2-3 years old. Last night we turned the elements on to cook dinner and there was no heat from any element. The red "hot" light came on but nothing from the burners. Tried the oven and the same thing... the display looked like it was working OK but no heat. Reset the breakers with no change. Tested power to the unit and I'm getting 240 to the unit so it doesn't look like an external wiring issue.
1 Answer Mike, You will want to check at the terminal block for 240 vac and make sure that the power cord is good. Also check for broken or damaged wires specifically the L2 which should be red wire coming from the terminal block. This is most likely where you are loosing power. Read More...
Sue December 28, 2014 for Model Number FTQ353IWUW/XAA-0000 I already was gonna have to order the control panel from you because my oven displays SE error code but the stove top was working. Well christmas morning my daughter set my griddle on there that covers to burners that i cook omelets with and when she did it statred beeping like it did when we tried to use oven to bake and displayed the error code and none of the burners will heat up. it will show that they are on but none of them are heating up. All of the red indicator lights on the back by the knobs show they are on if i turn each one on but none of them heat up. Please help
1 Answer Sue, For the SE error code, the control panel would be the correct part. For the issue with the burners showing on but not working would be an indication that you have lost power somewhere to the switches. You will need to check your power supply coming into the unit and make sure that there is 240 vac coming into the unit. You can also test each switch from L1 to L2 to make sure that there is 240 vac to each of the switches. Then if you check from H1 and H2 with the element on and check for 240 vac. Read More...
Bert September 20, 2014 for Model Number FTQ352IWUX/XAA-0003 The right element started getting very hot. Turning the knob down did very little. I checked the element for continuity and it tested good. I now suspect the regulator switch is acting up. What do you think? Is this the correct regulator (AP4337066) for the right front, when facing the range? Samsung Range model #FTQ352IWUX/XAA-0003 Bert
1 Answer Bert, This issue would most likely be caused by a faulty regulator switch since the element will get hot and not shut off. Read More...
Neal August 14, 2014 for Model Number FTQ386LWUX The front two-burner is always on high. It is red no matter where to turn the knob. Can I replace it with the part number 1-10 or is there a sensor. This is for a Samsung electric range, model # FTQ386LWUX.
1 Answer Neal, The part that would be needed is DG44-01002A which should resolve the issue of the unit staying only on hi. Read More...
