Nancy S November 06, 2015 for Model Number Samsung FTQ3531WUX/AA My two front large burners on my smoothtop will not regulate. If I have a burner on high and turn it down to Lo, it goes to Lo for a second and then heats back up to high. After that, no matter where I turn the dial, it stays on high. I had a repair person tell me it was most likely the sensors. Would this be the right part and is this just a matter of plugging the new part in? Thank you, Nancy S
1 Answer Nancy, The sensor that would be faulty is on the burners themselves and would need to get the elements. The sensors are not available separately. Read More...
Pete De October 30, 2015 for Model Number FTQ3531WUX When I turn on either of the 2 front (large) burners the control knob will not regulate the heat. Both burners stay on high regardless of the position of the control knob. These is true if the burn is turned to the large element or the smaller inner element. I find it strange that this is true for both front burners at the same time. Because of this effects both burners I'm thinking that the problem is something besides the control knobs malfunctioning?
1 Answer Pete, With the burners not being regulated, this issue would be caused by a shorted limiter on the elements. The limiter cannot be replaced separately and will need to replace the elements. Read More...
Stacey October 13, 2015 for Model Number NE595R0ABSR/AA-0000 When I set my oven to a temperature, it will heat to about 250 but no more.
1 Answer Stacey, You will want to check the oven sensor to make sure that the sensor is good. The sensor should have 1090 ohms resistance. If the resistance is not right then replace the sensor. If the sensor checks ok then replace the main control board. Read More...
Eva August 11, 2015 for Model Number FER300SX Electric range My oven will not heat up at all..No code was given eccept lights sort of flashed. Could it be the thermostat if so, where do I replace it. Thank you in advance
1 Answer Hello Eva. It sounds like the board DE92-03045B is bad. It is located in the control panel. Make sure the power is off before replacing the board. Read More...
1 Answer Hello Donald. You need to check and see if the elements are good in the unit. If so, you will need to order and replace the control board on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

Smitty October 13, 2014 for Model Number fx710bgs Why does oven temperature display go to 150 degrees after setting bake temperature higher than that and oven doesn't come on?
1 Answer Smitty, With the oven not coming on and the display reverting to 150 degrees, you would want to check the output of the control board to see if it is sending power to the elements. It sounds like there is an issue with the control board on the unit. Also check the oven sensor to make sure that it has a resistance of approximately 1090 ohms. Read More...
