Questions & Answers

For Samsung Range Oven Temperature Sensor (Part Number: OEM13029639)

1 Answer

CC, It's most likely an igniter issue or a gas flow problem. If it were a temp. sensor problem, we would expect to see some sort of an error code in the control display. The default oven temperature is usually 100 or 150 dgrs.F. When a temperature is selected, the control would default back to the 150 dgrs. and start to slowly increase up to the selected temperature if the oven is heating. Being a "gas" range, if the igniter is weak or inoperative, the ignition will not occur and the oven will not heat.

Doug for Model Number NE595R0ABSR/AA

Samsung Stove NE595R0ABSR/AA We have used this stove for two years ...... the cook top works fine, but the oven does not anymore. When the oven is turned on and reaches it's preheat temperature, the time it takes to reach preheat is faster than normal and doesn't seem to be the right temperature (not hot enough). This is the same in normal bake or convection bake mode settings. Also the oven convection fan does not come on any more in convection mode. When baking something it takes three or four times longer to get food cooked now compared to what it used to.
