Dan May 16, 2016 for Model Number Samsung French Door Model RF263BEAEBC The left door hinge or flap that springs back to keep door sealed and is suppose to flip back as you close the door but won't. If you open only left side and try to close it the flap hits the other door. Does this model have a spring that retracts and flips the flap back? Or do I have to buy the entire part DA97-12683B. The problem appears to be that the tab at the top of the flap (that is supposed to fit in the groove upon closing) is missing. Can I buy a replacement tab or, if not, can I replace the entire flap assembly?

How do you remove the cap on the middle hinge of the mullion on is model? I figured out how to get the top and bottom caps off but not the middle one.

Is that an easy self-fix. I'm very unhappy with this fridge. Really it is a piece of junk. I feel like putting the word out there on facebook for no one to every buy a Samsung Fridge. Also I have always had an excellent appliance repair guy, but he won't look at the fridge because he says Samsung won't let him buy their parts. Unbelievable!
