Wickedstepmom March 06, 2019 for Model Number WF328AAW/XAA Washer stopped draining, confirmed nothing is wrong with the drain motor/pump and need a door latch replacement. The OEM part in my washer does not have a part number and checking various websites, have found numerous part numbers. Ordered a DC64-00519B but was sent a DC34-00024B. Part is very similar but won't fit in the cover plate for the door latch I have now. I have located a new DC64-00519D that the seller says is the same as a DC64-00519B, is that correct? Will the cover plate I have now work? Thanks.
1 Answer Wicked, The part number for this door switch assembly is DC64-00519B and will want to use this assembly. In most cases a unit not draining would not be caused by a door lock and would suggest testing for 120 vac to the pump and if there is power to the pump then this would be either a clogged drain or a bad drain pump. Scott November 07, 2018 Have a front loading Samsung washer. Stopped the cycle before finishing and door would not unlock (received LO error). Researched and replaced door lock switch with DC34-00024B after prying door open (couldn't manually disengage lock). Upon replacing the lock switch and powering back up, door now will not lock and receiving FL error code. Hear 7 clicking attempts before receiving FL error code. Researching this code it basically tells me to do what I've already done which is to replace the switch. Any other possibilities?
1 Answer Scott, The only other cause for this would would be maybe the strike is bad or a possible wiring or main control board issue. Read More...
